Just ordered from Partzilla. Bought 3 for 6.71 ea. Just copied and pasted the part number into their search bar and it came right up. Too easy.

Remember the blank key is a 27R and the knob will not fit the saddlebag lock opening.

I bought mine from the local Honda dealer-- about $10 per knob. I am not smart sometimes.

Another place to check is Ace Hardware. They have a lot of different knobs.

Another place to check is this forum's member list.
But there may only be a couple left now. :icon_laugh:

I believe I have been on that list at one time or another. :yikes:

I got a couple of round knobs at local hardware store for $3 each....the one I made for the center cubby is fine, but the one for the bags is a tougher "turn". I cant get the torque on the knob to trip the lock. Looking for an alternative style that is a bit more like a key head and gives me the extra oomph to open the lock

Here is a good idea. I am still looking for the correct "balls". Maybe you can find some.

Here's what I use, for the very reason you stated. Ace hardware, cheap. If you buy this one, it has some kind of glaze on it, remove it with a light sanding. Then a little wax or armor all to get the right finish. You only have to do that once.

:icon_doh: I just noticed who was asking the question. Duhhhh :icon_doh:

I have the same problem. Can't get enough grip on the small radio knobs for the bags.

Living in the rural NC sticks, Ace HW stores only carry the basic stuff.

So you're saying that the 27R only works on the cubby? For some reason I thought the 27R worked on all locks but the ignition.

The radio knob is too large for the bag opening. That's what I'm saying. 27R's are at Home Depot , they buy blanks from Hillman. 27R are not at Ace.
