F6B Riders .....

What Motorcycle did you trade, retired or sold to acquire a NEW F6B ?

I have seen several posts from Riders that are coming from another Brand of motorcycle. Just curious where everyone is coming from.

Came from an ST1300.

The wife suggested we get the F6B deluxe so we could pick up and ride at a moments notice. She would not ride on the ST, too quick and our other bikes are on display in her shop.

Came from a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad. I had stuck a HD Road-Glide fixed-fairing on it

I am currently selling my 97 BMW R1100RT that Iv'e had for 3 years now to buy the F6B. I've owned all Honda's before that bike. 74-550, 79-750 and a 82-900F. The big gap in years is from when I was married. lol Gotta find a wife that LIKES motorcycles. http://hondaf6b.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif

I traded in my 2008 Suzuki DRZ 400 Super Moto. I used the DRZ for heavy in town use and now that use had declined and it just sat all last summer.

I still own a 2005 Rune, 2009 DN01, Harley FLSTNI Softail Deluxe, Suzuki B-King and a Triumph Thunderbird Storm.

I bought a black standard and added heated grips, center stand and LED auxiliary lights. I have no need for the back rest as I ride solo.

The weather here in Minnesota is awful. It was nine degrees this morning and the snow piles are so high you can't see over them when in the car. So the F6B will sit for about another month the way things look now. So I'm envious of those of you are able to ride now.

I had purchased it new in Aug., 2010 right before I retired. I had 48K plus miles on it. It was a good bike. Nothing like the F6B. I thoroughly enjoy my new bike. http://hondaf6b.com/images/smilies/biker.gif

I purchased a RED Deluxe F6B. It's a beauty.

I traded in my old 2012 Yamaha Vstar 1300 Tour for the Honda.

So excited to get going!

Had a GW 1200, then GW 1500 back in Europe, drove through 16 countries.
Then moved to beautiful New Zealand, and now ready to go for nice, relax rides, after a long break from motorcycles.

Happy to be a part of this forum. In response to the poll, I did not trade, retire or sell another bike to get my f6b. Last year I bought a new 2012 Kawasaki Concours 14. I had no intentions on getting rid of that bike when I noticed the f6b just about three months ago for the first time. I just knew I had to have it, so somehow I was able to obtain one. And WOW, this thing is like the Cadillac of motorcycles! It is a different ride from my Kawai and I'm am happy to have both. With this being my first post on this forum, I hope to learn a lot and contribute equally.

I forgot to mention that I put a taller windshield on order when I purchased the bike and it came in about a week later. Man, it makes a HUGE difference! Especially on the freeway. I also installed the fog lights and the accent the bike sooo much--really make you visible.

I had the same thing happen to me. Just bought a bike last year and then saw the F6B. I could not stop myself...
My accessory funds are a bit low so one part at a time. I will start with a wind shield and clear turn signal covers.

We traded in our beloved 2009 Kawi Concours 1400. 17000 good time miles.
Did the deal Saturday afternoon. Bad case of buyers remorse this morning as I have anytime I make a high dollar purchase.. : p
We spent all day Easter Sunday on the super comfortable new F6B- 240 miles in the book.
50 mpg taking the ozark back roads nice and easy as she only had 1 mile on her when we rode it off the lot.

Congrats on the new F6B! I too had a few sleepless nights thinking about the "deal" I made. I took a few rides over the weekend and have not thought about it since. This bike has so many great features and could easily be my last bike. All of the great reviews, including May 13 Cycle World, should make you feel better! Welcome to the forum!

Traded a 2005 Yamaha Roadstar for my Black standard F6B.By far this is the nicest riding bike I have ever owned.Waiting on a Baggershield 19" vented touring shield to get here to make my ride even better.Little story I was out on a short ride yesterday when I hear behind me the blip of a siren.Look into the mirrors and see a NV trooper on his police bike pointing for me to pull over.Thought to myself what the heck was I doing wrong as I pulled to the side of the road.He pulls up next to me and say's "Nice ride How do you like it so Far".I laughed and said it is great and we had a 5 minute talk.He was lookin to try one of these and I had bought the only one at the Reno,NV Honda dealer. So I offered to let him ride mine and watch his police bike for a minute. He came back and say it was awsome-felt as nice as his Kawi police cruiser.Nice to know I have a buddy now just in case.I told him the hardest part of riding this F6B is keeping the speed down!

I traded my yamaha Roadliner for the f6b. But I was at the dealer which I have bought 30 bikes from making a deal on a 2010 canam spyder rts. Deal was done ,paperwork ready to sign, all I needed to do is test ride this thing which I think is a beautiful machine. Wife and I hopped on and this was the worst handling most insecure thing I have ever been on. We rode for about 40 minutes and finally I was tired of trying to keep it on the road so back to the dealer we went and came home with the f6b :-). I have ridden the smaller spiders and really liked them a lot.

I had to make a decision, put money into my 2000 Harley Electraglide with 83,000 miles on it, or do some research, find a bagger that is reliable, comfortable, and made for cross country touring. Rode my Harley over to the Honda dealer to test drive a Victory Cross Country and saw the F6B on the sales floor. After riding the Victory, jumped on the F6B, and that was it, sold!

I have had many bikes in the past 36 yrs of riding.
Most recently M109r I thought I would never get another bike.
I miss the RUMBLE but this new bike is amazing, my 6 into 6 pipes on order.
I know it wont sound like the 9 but hopefully it will be sufficient

It may be me but the way my 9 was set up I dont think the F6b pulls as hard

Traded Triumph R3T 2300cc monster. Big, heavy and scary but Southern Powersports in Chatt TN did me right. Still have Vic CrossCountry my kickback tourer. I love it but F6B is a different animal. Feels like crotch rocket compared to what I am used to. There you go. And, you just can't beat Honda reliability.

I traded in a VFR1200 for my F6B Standard...at age 70 it seemed a good idea. Before the VFR I rode a Softail and before that a Sportster 1200, and WAAAYYY before that Triumph Bonneville.

The F6B slices curves better for me than the VFR, but that's just my style of riding.

F6B looks like best and last ride.

I traded a 2006 Suzuki C90T 1500 Boulevard. What a difference. I agree you need a taller windshield. Just picked it up last week, rode 300 miles , and weather has been cold and rainy since. So far I love it. Red and added lower fairing lights.

The wife traded in her 08 1300 V-star and surprised me w/ black Deluxe and we just put 1300 miles on it this week, Pulling Kwick Kamp, to the Hill Country in Texas 6 days then home and then a quick run up to Southern Oklahoma and back at speeds over 100 at times, with some rain in the Metro mess all good, Kept the 97 Valk, Just to good a bike to let go, and the wife say's the F6 fits her better than her V-Star

I have owned 4 new motorcycles in the last 5 years. Suzuki C50T, Suzuki C109, Kawasaki Vaquero and now the Honda F6B. I enjoyed them all. I traded the 2012 Vaquero after 7 months of ownership with 6447.1 miles on it. Got my F6B Feb.16 already have over 6700 miles on it.

Love this thing. I have told myself that this is the last bike I am going to buy. Then again who knows?

Had a HD Roadking then a HD Fatboy but my last ride was a 2010 Canam Spyder RS-S which was very fun to ride and easy to ride with push button

Well I had two 1997 Valkyrie's and loved them both. I have a standard Valkyrie and I had a Tourer that I bought in Cal. about 3 years ago had only 87 miles on it. Under a tarp for 16 years. I seen the F6B during Bike Week here in Phoenix and knew I had to have one. So I sold the Valk Tourer and I sold my Suzuki DRZ 400 dirt bike (I didn't ride that one much anymore) and within a couple of weeks I had my Black F6BD in my garage. I still have the origional Valk standard I bought many many years ago and I will probably always have it but I do love my F6BD!

My last ride was a 2010 Kawasaki Concours 14. It was a great bike but not the right fit for me for rides longer than 200 miles. The F6B fits me well and keeps me in the saddle until I want to get off to look at the sites or to fuel up. I just didn't understand what I was missing by ignoring the Wings.

Well I've been riding since I was a kid. Like 30 years now. Two things I said I would never buy, a Harley or a Goldwing. When I turned 40 I decided to get a Harley and see what that was all about. After two bikes, spending thousands of dollars and two years in and out of the shop I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted the F6B since I first saw it. So I paid down the Street Glide enough to make a deal and now I have it! My bike is my daily driver and the mileage on the Harley was really hurting the value. (I had 59,000 miles on a 2007 and nobody wanted it). I can't wait to rack up the miles on my F6B and not stress over it. Feels good to be FREE! :icon_mrgreen:

Love my f6b!... I live in Minnesota so I got off to a late start this year with the long winter and stupid wet spring, but have taken trips to Kentucky and last week to Black Hills of SD... the bike is awesome!... maybe too early... but might be best bike I have driven... my wife loves it as well.. more comfortable than the Valkyrie she says... :) works for me....

My wife, daughter, and I have had eight bikes most of the time, during the last 14 years. My daughter does not come out (from Houston to the Woodlands) much, my wife injured her back and does not ride and I have had a hard time keeping all the bikes up. SO, I am selling the 08 B-King, 09 Hayabusa, 10 Yamaha VT650, and the 00 ACE750. Then I will have my 08 GL1800, 13 F6B, and 09 Suzuki Burgman650 Exec. This is going to be just right, I believe.

My love affair with the wind started when I was 14 years old. I rode my bud's KE 100 at a fair in Belleview Florida. Dropped it when I hit the front brake in stead of the clutch. Picked it up, got back on and have never looked back.
Fast forward to present, I am 48 and have been riding, most recently, a 2007 VTX 1300R that I purchased new From Honda Of Houston. The VTX has been a flawless machine. Never will you find a complaint from me about that bike but, Shortly after I purchase it, I discovered the Valkyrie Interstate. I have been searching for a good buy on one ever since.
So here I am at HOH one day and my friend Blair shows me the pictures of this new "hot rod GW". At that moment I am hooked. Then I learn that the F6B was actually supposed to be the new Valkyrie. Honda wants to sell this bike world wide but in certain countries, Valkyrie is not a nice word. (Hello Germany)
Bottom line, VTX is being sold, paper work is all in for the F6B and I hope to pick it up in about a week.

Traded a 2010 ST1300 with 7200 miles on it for the Black F6B and love the new half-a-wing. Test rode this bike in Feb but tried hard to "like" the ST1300 through the spring months. How can Honda make such a great 1300cc motor and mate it up with a bike that is simply miserable to ride. It has a high speed weave that will slap you to the pavement, eats tires like cotton candy and has more wind noise than a tornado. Finally threw in the towel and took delivery of the Black unit. Upgraded the National Cycle windscreen but dropped it down 3 inches from its lowest stock position by cutting away the center positioning slot and drilling mounting holes using the stock F6B windscreen as a template. Now the visual is over the top of the windscreen but all the air, bugs and turbulence goes around me and over the helmet. Also has that all important air vent in the windscreen to let in cool air on those really hot days. 4100 miles later this machine is simply awesome. Needs some pipes and a chip but handling is rock solid and can be really quick in the twisty bits if you work at it.
Great to see this site for F6B riders. Hope we can develop enough interest in some after market goodies.

Hi Guys,

I have just bought my F6B in black. I am in Inverness Scotland and the F6B has just gone on sale here in the UK as of the 1st July. As far as I know we are only getting 35 bikes in the UK as Honda aren't sure if it will sell here. I still have my Honda Rune but it's up for sale. It's been a great bike and I've had it since 2005, but it's time for a change :icon_cool:

I won't be getting my hands on the bike until until at least September as I have to have it converted to a trike, I am a disabled rider and full time wheelchair user. I look forward to reading all your thoughts on the new F6B and to sharing your hints and tips. All the very best to you all.

Sold a 97 Road King with over 80k miles, and traded in 06 FJR with about the same miles. Took a hell of a beating on both bikes after rolling on my awesome machine a few miles it was worth every penny I lost on the others. Also had 1981 750 Nitehawk, 92 Sportster, and a 113 in ss special const. Chopper. After the F6B I will never be the same.

Love the bike .Great power, smooth ride and awsome looks. Also ride a 2012 Harley RoadGlide CVO. Our Harley/Honda dealer has a sign out by the road that says ``drop in and try our harleys and Hondas-the best of both worlds.I tend to agree with them.

I won't do a laundry list of past models but many bikes all shapes and sizes. 20 years on a 20th century BMW. Time for a change and I prefer the platform of a GL1800 over a 21st century BMW.

A whole slew of Hondas, an '06 HD Night Train (custom to the hilt), bought a '10 Yamaha V-Star 900 for the spouse who said "No, I'll ride behind you." Rode that off and on for a year and a friend brought over two cycle mags with write-ups on the F6B. Went to the dealer, went back with my wife and three days later the beauty arrived at the dealer. BEST handling bike I've owned. Responsive with road manners, WOW!

I have been reading this forum since it began and joined in March only to find a few months later that it crashed and I got deleted! Anyway, I am back.............together with a new F6B.
The F6B was only available to special order in the UK. Honda did not want to get loaded with a lot of unsold bikes so they told their dealers to order what they wanted (up to a maximum of 5) and they would get the bikes shipped from Japan.
Well they arrived in the UK on 22nd July, all 37 0f them! 26 Black and 11 red. My dealer ordered 3 and has sold all of them. We only get the standard bike in europe, but with ABS and HISS (Honda Ignition Security System). I picked my Black beauty up on August 3rd and I cannot stop smiling!
I rode the first 300 miles with the standard screen and knew I had to change it for something taller. Mission accomplished, I have now adapted a Goldwing screen with vent, which sits 18.5 inches from the rubber. I find this to be perfect for me. My next addition will be a centre stand.
I have been riding 47 years and have been there/ done that as far as bikes are concerned. Back in 1990 I owned a Harley FLHT for a year then sold it. In December 2012 I bought a 2002 Road King to give Harley another chance...........I forgot what they were like and decided I had made a mistake. Thankfully the dealer took it in trade for the F6B.
This is a great Forum, dedicated to a great bike, thanks for sharing the knowledge you guys have. By the way Honda UK are not ordering any more bikes for this year, but there is strong talk of a new F6C on the horizon.

Yip it's a shame we are limited to so few bikes and to only the standard models, but with all the add ons we can soon fix that. All the best.

F6B Riders .....

What Motorcycle did you trade, retired or sold to acquire a NEW F6B ?

I have seen several posts from Riders that are coming from another Brand of motorcycle. Just curious where everyone is coming from.

I started on a 1980 Yamaha Midnight Maxim, then 1981 Honda Goldwing, 1986 Honda Goldwing, 1998 Valkyrie Black (totaled it) replaced it with a 1998 Valkyrie Burgundy & Cream, I kept this Valk with 235,000km and now have an F6B Black and loving it!

Just traded my Victory Vision for a F6B. The Vision is a great bike and the most comfortable out of the box that I have ever owned. I found the Victory 106 engine much better than any new Harley but it still needs some performance work to get it to the level I have come to expect. It was either invest a couple of grand in the Vision or go to a different platform. I am sure I will miss the comfort and amenities offered by the Vision but 75% of my driving is around town anyway. The F6B will be the 30th motorcycle I have owned and I don't think it will disappoint.

My first was a Cushman my dad brought home in boxes when I was six. I have never been without a bike since. I was raised on Honda's, my first big bike was a 78 GW. In the nineties I went over to the dark side and bought a Harley, then a BMW and went back and forth between those brands. I have always kept an eye on what Honda was producing but nothing caught my eye until now. I pick up my new F6B in the morning and have sold all my other bikes to make a special place for the F6B. At 57, it's kinda like coming home, I am more excited to get this bike than I have been for any other since I was a kid, and I want this one to have my undivided attention. This is a great forum! Looking forward to tomorrow....then the weekend.....then....

I have riddin Wings for 15 years and been very pleased untill I began to have a few issues with my back. (Moving around slowly in tight places, dropped 1 time and had fits uprighting the wing) My son suggested test riding a lighter bike. So I did. 1st was the Concours 1400, Then the Honda St 1300, And last but not least the FJR1300. All of these are good machines, but something was missing. There was no way I could spend a whole day on one of these. Then my salesman in Searcy Ark said ride this. (An f6b) I had not seen one up close. He felt that it would be a good fit. It was and is. After some barganing I traded my 07 Navi Wing. I made it home just before the weather got cold and icy and here I sit with only 100 miles in the saddle wanting to ride. Like this forum

Well...I have been since 1997 anyway. I am on my second Valkyrie (Interstate) and have been feeling I wanted to do something new but frankly haven't really seen anything that pulled my bobber under the water.I went to the dealer today with my wife to look at the new Wings and F6B's and I must say I was quite intrigued by the F6B. The dealer shot me an almost unbelievable price for my Valkyrie in trade. Weather was not good enough to ride in today, going back next Saturday. It is the deluxe model with the larger windshield.
He is also giving me 1000 in Honda bucks. Hope to report back in next week as a new owner!

Hey Dave, I remember your name from the VRCC and think I saw you a couple years ago at a Valkyrie rally in Northern Mich...I too was a Valkaholic and loved my 99 Black Tourer I rode for over 6 years...but, the F6B is better in everyway in my opinion..More power, handles better, love the fairing, rides better and is just plain more fun to ride...I have a 11"-19" Baggershield, Cobra 6-2-6 pipes, custom painted, Kury grips, and some chrome goodies....This is the nicest bike I have had in my 45+ years of riding and I know you will not be disappointed in your choice....Keep us posted on what transpires and Good Luck......

mini-bike
Yamaha YZ-80
Yamaha 125 trail bike
'83 Suzuki GS 850
'87 Goldwing
'01 Valkyrie Interstate, totaled 2011
'97 Road King, purchased fall 2013, hated the vibration
'13 F6B Deluxe, early March

I was excited to hear about the new Valkyrie, but it's just too short. Saw the F6B and fell hard for it. Found a great deal on 5,000 mile and purchased with out riding it. Have ridden it around the block and now waiting for the temps to hit above 30 and dry pavement here in the Twin Cities.

77 Suzuki GS 750. Purchased with 5000 miles in 1979. Sold in 1984 with 50,000 miles, mostly just because I had ceased to have the proper amount of fear and respect for the bike and the road. It was fast, fun and reliable, as were most the generic 750's back then. Been watching the Goldwings off and on over the years, but could not resist the F6B. Only back in the saddle for a couple of weeks now, after a two-day BRC. Really I don't have the words to describe how enjoyable it has all been. Glad, also, to have found this forum where many seem to feel the same, especially the mod. Nice fellow.

I went to ride in the Vietnam Traveling Wall Memorial Escort ride in Melbourne Fl. last month and met a fella who had an F6B Black Deluxe. He let me sit on it and I was hooked. Got home and told the Mrs. about it and immediately started looking on the interwebs for more info.

Called my dealer in Kissimmee Fl., told him I wanted to trade up and worked out a deal on mine. Been lovin it the last two weeks now. Have the Cobra pipes on it minus the baffles.... Ooohhh so cool, a Baggershield 11" sport shield, Kyri Hwy Pegs on it already. Looking to maybe do a seat, and more lighting ASAP.

I've owned 5 Harley's in the past along with a couple other bikes over the years.

Traded in a 2004 VTX1300C with ultimate seats and sport backrest yesterday, and rode my new 2014 yellow F6B deluxe home from the dealership in the rain just yesterday.
I was always very happy with the VTX, but was ready for something new after 10 years on it, and I loved the look and feel of the F6B when I first checked it out a couple of weeks ago.

I traded a Harley Heritage for the F6B. I had a VTX 1800 at one time so coming back to Honda felt pretty natural for me. The F6B is the most fun I've had on two wheels in a very long time. Spent all day out riding. I absolutely LOVE this bike.

After 35 + years of riding, I have owned close to 60 various motorcycles. I have owned a variety of bikes such as Honda's CX500T, '85 VF1000R, Hayabusa's, R1's, 83 Aspencade, 86 LE Wing and a bunch of Harleys.

I noticed the F6 a couple weeks ago while stopping at a local dealership during a ride. That is all it took! My last touring bike was an '01 HD Roadglide. Every year I end up having issues with one thing or another on it. Took the F6 for a test ride and walked out with it! Done! Best bike I have ridden by far! I realize this isn't for everyone but this is the bike I have been longing for since I bought my Glide new. :icon_lol:

Not a bike. Sold my 1955 Chevy 210 Del Ray 2 door post car to have the cash for my F6B. Last bike I had was a Harley Davidson FXS Lowrider. I was looking at HD Street Glides and the F6B. At this stage of my life, the F6B is more appealing to me.

Just bought a 2013 Red F6B Deluxe. Traded in a 2010 Honda VFR1200.

It was a fantastic bike and would do anything asked of it. It never surprised me or performed less than flawlessly, but it made me a more aggressive and dangerous rider. It wasn't really happy unless it was accelerating or banked over into a deep corner. Also, I'm getting a little old to crouch on top of the thing like a gargoyle for more than a couple of hours at a stretch so it was time to let it go. Couldn't carry much either. Looking forward to some practical luxury.

Liking the FB6 so far. Getting used to the much longer wheelbase. She's a big girl.

Ready for my windshield to get here.

Peace, ya'll!

The last bike was a 2003 H-D Road King Classic and I swore I'd never get another heavy bike again......but, I was using it primarily as a daily commuter in city peak hour traffic, which was a tad silly.

Then Mr. Honda brought out the F6B and the rest is history. The moment I first sat on one and took the weight I knew it wasn't like the H-D and the deal was done 2 days later. (2014 Black) All of the Australian Dealers had runouts on 2013 Red for AUD $19,990 ride away, which all got snapped up, but I did have my heart set on that black and that's what I've got, or at least will have as soon as they get it out of the box. Can't wait to hit the highways and byways of South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.....and Central New South Wales....and Southern New South Wales....

I never traded any bike for another one . Always kept few for different purposes . For decades I was enthusiastically loyal to all models of BMW's , then Valkyrie opened new meaning of riding . Switching from Std's, to Tourers and Interstates , as became to be my habit . Suddenly on the first day of announcement spotted F6B and didn't ask for anything more . After initial trip to Canada , decided to sell all remaining fleet. Still having Rune just for fun and never ending cleaning . Are they my last one ? Traded in a 2006 VTX1300R with 1,500 miles. Still have a 2009 K1200Lt that we use for 2-up longer distance riding with a trailer. Was a happy rider until the new Indian came out, and was pretty well set on buying one - nostalgia and all that since my first bike 45 years ago was a used 1953 Chief. THEN I saw the F6B - the heavens opened up, a choir sang and all other pretenders to motorcycling nirvana faded to black! I fought the inner battle for over a year until I lost it when I saw the YELLOW 2014. I surrendered unconditionally and haven't looked back! Nothing but smiles on every ride. And lots of opportunity to add "stuff".

Looking forward to a great 2015 season and seeing some of you on the road.

I am coming from an ST1300. At 60 years old I found it bothering both my knees and hips. At 6'1" my legs are just pushed up too much. I am installing forward pegs on my new F6B hoping they will alleviate any strain on my joints after extended time on the standard pegs. The ST is a really good motorcycle but I don't think it compares to the F6B.

Came off a 2003 VTX1800 that I was basically converting to a Goldwing. When the F6B came out I knew I had to have it someday. Then a year later they were slashing prices and giving away extra year warranty and $1000 of accessories. Was considering Victory Cross Country, Kawasaki Vaquero and Street Glide too. F6B just checked every box on my list of must haves. Kinda over the V-Twin thing.

My F6B is called 'bumble' due to its being a rare yellow and black colour combo. I still have the VT although it is for sale as the wife insists I can only have one toy at a time. At my age only 2 years off retirement, things are looking good for riding and Brisbane Queensland weather supports riding all year around. Can't help wonding if there are any Qld B owners out there. I have only had bumble 3 weeks and have just had the full screen and backrest fitted. So so comfortable now.

Welcome Geoff! And congrats on being so close to retirement with two toys.

PS - When you come to the Rally in Franklin, please bring me some Bundy OP. My stash is getting low....

F6B Riders .....

What Motorcycle did you trade, retired or sold to acquire a NEW F6B ?

I have seen several posts from Riders that are coming from another Brand of motorcycle. Just curious where everyone is coming from.

I added it to my collection. 05 Rune, 03 VTX 1800R. Selling the 1800R. :-)

I traded a perfectly good running 2008 XV1700 Yamaha with about 36,000 miles on it. Bought it in 2010 and was brand new warehouse find.
Traded it in for my new 2013 F6B left over also brand new never titled or registered. I don't mind if my bike is a few years old when I buy it. As long as it is a ZERO miles bike. The XV1700 was cramped and the seat felt like I was sitting on an anvil and could only ride 300 miles a day before a pain induced posture problem became unbearable.
I haven't made along ride yet, but I just bought it 14 days ago. I plan on make the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohalla, and the Moonshiner highway before the end of the year. Maybe Austin, Tx as well.
I have been riding since 1963 when gas was 25 cents a gallon.

This is my first post,so I'd like to say hello to everyone. I currently ride a Vfr1200 dct. I have to say this is an amazing machine. Tons of power and the dct is a blast to ride. I can't behave on this bike,it is way to much fun to ride fast. I love the bike but I feel like I'm pushing my luck in the speeding ticket department. So, I've decided it's forsale. When I do sell it the F6B will be my next bike. My dealer currently has a new red 2014.
If you known anyone looking for a 2010 VFR1200 DCT. Please let me know. Thanks

Flyrazor, I traded a c109r, haven't received yet but you caught my attention since we know the power of the 109's and the F6b is better how awesome~~~what did you notice since the bikes we rode are so similar?12981
Well the F6B is smoother.
F6B is better balanced.
Shaft Drive is more refined.
Corners much better
Did I say saddle -bags.
Radio
Horn - F6B sounds like a car horn.
Transmission is better: No second gear issues.
Wide body FB6 deflects the wind on my lower torso and chest.
Factory Headlights are better.
F6B has more buttons.
Integrated USB Music player.
My 2013 F6B cost about the same as my 109.
F6B is easier to ride, The F6B just might be one of the easiest bikes to ride for it's size ever made.

Purchased my 2014 F6B new in june and I love it. I have owned a lot of bikes over the years but had got out of biking back in 1989 when I sold my 1984 Goldwing. Life went on and then about 3 years ago I fell into a good deal on the Drifter, it was a great bike and it looked just like an Indian, just a little small. I first saw an F6B 2 years ago and loved it but wasn't thinking I could ever own one, long story short (if it's not already to late) I own it.

Can't wait to hit the open road, it's been to long.

Traded a 2007 BMW K1200GT. I am a short 61 year old rider and it was time to get a lower bike that allows me to have both feet flat on the ground. The F6B is not as top heavy as the K bike.

I traded my Yamaha XV1700 for my F6B. It was a okay "Scooter." But this F6B is the answer for what I had been wanting all along.
I always had plans to stuff a car engine into a motorcycle frame in the back of my mind. I have been riding since 1963 and rode many bikes and have owned just about every brand made. Even a Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo.

Here I am with a ready made dream come true! My bike has two more cylinders and two hundred more cubic centimeters than the wife's KIA Soul.

I am not easily impressed, but with this F6B I get a smile on my face every day I ride. The handling, performance, and beautiful lines are nothing less than perfection. I could be prejudiced, but this bike is what it is. Perfect.

1982 Suzuki GS650…first bike…learned to ride on it…put 11,000 miles on it.
2008 VStar 1100 Silverado…traded Suzuki for it…crashed it a month after buying it…took rest of 2012 and 2013 off from riding.
2004 VStar 1100 Classic…bought for $3200 in July 2014…got back into riding more than ever…
2013 F6B…purchased 10/8/15…my, have a come a long way since the Suzuki in 2010, a bike I paid $400 for.

From Rochester, NY rural-suburbs…I have never seen another F6B in this area.

I went from the VFR 1200 (Honda) because I was getting a sore neck and shoulders on longer rides (500klms or more). Loved the power of the VFR.

Me and my M109 Suzuki got taken out last year by a cager. Decided on comfort and being more visible. I loved the 9, but this 6 is everything that was said about it.

I traded a 2012 GL 1800. It had the audio/comfort package.
I had it for 3 days before I took a 700 mile ride. Went down to the Texas Hill Country and rode some amazing roads.
The F6B handled very well. The only thing I missed from the Wing I traded in was the heated seat....I got a 2015 so it had the cruise.... That was a definite plus.
