Hello everyone I have been looking around here for the last mouth and half or so. This is a great forum of F6B owners great info have learned a lot here. I became a proud owner of a new 2014 F6BD in Aug of 2014 absolutely love this bike. At 57 and owning more bikes than i can remember I decided I was going to buy my last bike :icon_wink: had my mind was set on a GL1800 full wing. Walked in the Honda dealership with all intention on purchasing that full wing then I saw it a red F6B everything changed. The little man inside my head said Honda built this just for you. After a week1/2 of wheeling and dealing with two Honda dealerships i ordered a fast Black F6BD. Picked her up Aug 13 2014 and never looked back, looking forward to a long summer of riding.

Yes the red is a good looking bike as all f6b but nothing looks as good as that fast black just my opinion. I am also running up on 8000 miles. I do my own oil changes 500, 2000 with Honda full synthetic Honda filter next will be 8000 with Rotella T6 synthetic and Wix 51358 filter.

Over the winter I did add a few things baggershield, SoCal clear mirror lens and led lights front and rear led and a led light below the tag that is used as a running light and brake, activated by a brake modulator. Also with the help of (The Swede form member) who I would like to thank helping me with the rear tail light assembly modification. the shield was for comfort, lights brake modulator safety, tail ass mod just like the clear look.

I dunno... my red one is pretty fast... has 22,000 miles on her with that trip around the western US last summer. But she's been dismantled (again) and is NO LONGER RED....

So, will that make her faster or?

She's gone to the "white side" while I figure out what to put over this primer. (Shhhhhhh....I never really liked the red!)

XKnight first instinct was always fast Black.the red was the first F6B i had seen in person and just loved the lines and low sporty look.

Glad to see your still with us here Elin had not seen you post for a while.Can't believe your painting over all that nice paint work you did last year but I'm sure you will come up with a great idea soon.I wish I had your talent to do that kind of work.Look foward to seeing the finished product.
