I bought this blind spot mirror a couple of weeks ago and having been riding and checking it out... A little pricey but worth the money is my evaluation. It did get some getting use to having yourself star back at you!!! With this mirror and the stock mirrors the only thing that is not covered is directly behind the driver, you can see 90* left and right clear back to the rear of the bike. This mirror once you build some trust in it's ability you can almost stop shoulder checking, it's that good.....

How does it attach to the F6B? Can't quite make out the PICs, suction cups or glue?
What if you have a Madstad?

It is held in place by two sided tape.... sorry for the delay in posting pic's... for some unknown reason I could not get them right side up... this after 300+ photos uploaded !!!! :icon_doh:

+... the Madstand has to be the driest shield I have ever been behind !!!!!!

Steve and I both have the Madstad. I think it makes the whole package look better too, because it fills in the gap between inner shield and dash. This on top of it being very effective. Also, if you position it in a "top down" position, in other words push down the top, it expands the view considerably

Glad you like it!

Agree about no more over the shoulder looks being necessary... I love that! It takes a little adjustment though in how you use your mirrors; for me, it's become a two step process because you can't tell if someone is approaching at a high speed. I first check the OEM mirror to make sure no one is coming up fast behind me, then check the Riderscan for the blindspot.

Here's a close up on a Madstad; the arms have pretty good adjustability (my bike is FILTHY in this pic).

Also works well on a Clearview shield

George, did you ever find out anything about why your base shield is different from everyone elses?

No I haven't yet... still waiting to get my bike back. :icon_biggrin:

Thanks for reminding me though; I should be able to ride up to Madstad sometime next week.

Bobby, anyone as good looking as you SHOULD be staring at themselves all day!
Someone like me, on the other hand, would instantly bring 7 years of bad luck for breaking the mirror. :yikes:

Hi,

Amazon no longer carries these puppies. Does anyone know how to buy them (short of converting dollars to pounds and crossing the ocean myself? Do any of our forum sponsors carry these guys?

Thanks,
pete

Pep Boys and Walmart carry similar rear view convex mirrors. Also if you order something overseas via credit card; that is normally converted automatically by your credit card company when they process the charge from foreign currency into dollars.

I've ordered (in the past) a custom flyscreen for my Triumph Rocket; and the vendor had listed the cost in pounds. It was converted into a dollar charge (at that current exchange rate) by my VISA card issuer.
