Where did you buy your 2013 F6B service manual?
How much did you pay?

Is the Honda manual the best? Did you buy any others? Do you have a good source to repair (you tube type videos)?

Is there any good repair videos for purchase? I have seen that a guy sells repair videos (Cruiseman) Are they any good?

When I first started doing all my own service on my Harley I bought these videos called FixMyHog. They were not perfect but they did give you the confidence to do most repairs on your bike yourself. (It is so nice to have seen it done before, even if it is not exactly like your bike) I have tools, a motorcycle jack and the desire to get up close and personal with my bike. I feel that it is important to help become one with your bike. It adds to the relationship building type of thing. I have found if you take good care of your bike (wife) she will take good care of you.

Yes,Yes and Yes..... You-tube has some great vids on our bikes or at least the GL1800 platform... there are a couple sets of C.D.'s out there as well... the Honda manual is the best ...

Did you buy it direct from your Honda dealer? They said they would have to order it at my dealer.

Although mainly for the GL1800 Fred Harmon's cd set IMO are what a guy doing his own maintaince wants. Here is a link below and I am sure you can find else where or order from Fred direct.

I have them and have had for near 10 years now and they can't be beat.

Whether or not you get the videos, I think the Honda manual is mandatory for someone wanting to do their own work and become "one" with the bike. Order from Helminc or your dealer; there's a numbskull out there selling photocopied manuals for about the same price as a legit copy.

Is Cruiseman the same person as Fred Harmon??

The Cruiseman videos have some real gems in there that are not found in the manual. For example, when talking about bleeding brakes, Cruiseman relays his experience with several of the aftermarket speed bleeders. After telling me what's good and what's bad... he finally advises to go with this one; I did and it worked great :icon_biggrin:

Because i do all my own work. whether it be adding on accessories, maintenance, mechanical or electrical. I find having the factory manual a most if you are a do it yourself-er. I Ordered it from the dealership where i purchase the bike $82.00 and some change. I got the factory service manual and the electrical troubleshooting manual has been very useful. I do find some of the YouTube videos useful for a visual reference.

Fred's DVD tells you how not to break some of the plastic panels when removing them, if you
break one ear on a panel you just paid for the DVDs, and for me I do not like broken or glued
together parts.
