I don't know if bikemp3 is a preferred vendor here, but I bought their 960 fog light kit kit from Cyclemax, as have many.
On doing the install, one of the lower trim plates was missing.
I emailed them on Saturday, got an email back Saturday evening from Pete, who I assume is the owner, who said he'd look after it first thing today.
This morning I get a phone call from their customer service person, wanting to know the particulars (exact missing part, my address, etc).
I didn't take the call, but got the message. She left me her email and requested my info.
About 15 minutes after sending the email, she replied with a confirmation and USPS tracking number for the missing part.
She is sending out both left and right trim plates just in case.
Great customer service!

BTW, the Honda accessory fog light kit that I had previously installed just doesn't cut it.
It's way overpriced, and the dollar per lumen output is yesterday's technology.

Good to hear they are taking care of you. As far as the Honda LED kit I think it's good quality and I get compliments on it's brightness and visibility (which is why I bought them). Over priced but you get what you pay for.

I'm pretty sure we've covered that last sentence a few times!

The 960's are on my list behind the Helibars.

I need Pete's direct email address, if any one has it. I have several of the BikeMP3 products and happy with most of them.

I just returned from a 4,000 mile ride to the NW from my home in Dallas. I originally purchased items for a new F6B and arranged to purchase it. But when my wife dropped me off at the dealership to pick it up, she saw the 2014 all black GL MegaBeast on the floor and said, "what about that one instead?" An hour later I'm out da door on a full sized GL.

I installed the 960's and blacked out turn signal lenses which gave the bike an even more alluring look. In the past BMP3 also sold a single light, or what can be best described as a 'half of a 960'. 480's perhaps. Those went under the fairing and come on only when the brights are activated. All together the forward lighting impact is awesome.

The bike performed flawlessly both on the ride north and back, albeit in a lot of rain. Somewhere along the way a rock shattered the lens on one of the 4 960 lights. The LED, however, remained functional. The other 3 lights developed condensation behind the lenses.

Once home I contacted BMP3 via their website for info on repair or replacement. The gal running the Florida office (Nicki) promptly called me and said that BMP3 had 'upgraded' their 960 lights with better lenses and lighting footprint. Because I had a substantial credit on their books for a returned Evolution CB (didn't need it as one was already installed on the Wing), I opted to use the credit to purchase the 'new & improved' 960's, which are now installed and looking purdy.

All the aforementioned detail is because in order to repair the damaged 960's, I'll need to send them directly to Pete in LV, NV, and therein lies the problem. The only contact for BMP3 is via their FL location. I need to comm directly w/Pete for instructions on which brothel or casino in LV to send the damaged lights to for repair. Once completed, I'll keep them as back up in case of other problems down the road.

Other than Nicky in the Florida office, lack of communication with his customers remains the most constant theme of criticism directed at Pete, which I understand is because he's more of a gear head than a businessman. When your attaboy-to-shithead ratio is running 50-50, it ain't good for business.

If you buy a Marine a drink, translation ensues....
