Well after a lot of deliberation,i finally decided on a Madstad Screen. I've ordered the 15" Medium Grey. Hope it works as well as everyone says. I'm still not sure on the looks but i think i'd rather comfort and adjustability anyway.

Keep us posted on your results, especially if you ride 2 up.

Your ride just became much more enjoyable and enjoy your music at lower volume.

I currently have a custom shield that i made, so it's already pretty good. I just like the idea of the adjustment with the Madstad. I ride all year round in all weather so it should be good.3022

Before I purchased mine I thought my head was going to explode trying to decide on a replacement windshield for the "B". Kept coming back to the Madstad, so I finally pulled the trigger on one. The first thing I thought after installing it was "that was a waste of a couple hundred bucks" It looked butt ugly on the bike. Then my wife tells me "that doesn't look right" :yikes: My riding buddy who is pretty smooth with his words stammered when I asked his opinion.:yikes: But..............the darn thing just works !! The ability to adjust for scooting around town or blasting down the interstate is great. I've had mine about a month now and it's starting to look "normal" to me. No regrets here. I am 6'1" with a Mustang seat, with a 11" dark grey. Good luck, it really does improve your ride.

I've had a Madstad 13" med gray on my bike with a stock seat for about a month. I'm 5' 11" and could have gotten by with the 11" but what I have is working for me. The shield adjusted all the way down and about a 1/4" out is the sweet spot for me. Wifey says less wind for her all the way up and the same 1/4" out but I really have to either sit straight up in the saddle to see over shield or crouch a bit to see through shield. I'm going to make a few more adjustments to see if I can get less wind for wife in a lower position. This is the first bike I've had with a shield so I don't have anything to compare to but after reading what members are saying...Madstad is the shield to get.

Installed 13" med.grey and can say it is a different cockpit experience. Quieter and can hear the tunes at a lower volume. I'm 6 ft with a Mustang seat and could probably use an 11" shield but if I add my AirHawk seat pad it seems better.

Just a pic for proof. Took a ride today and adjusted the shield and I'm good with the 13". http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae351/JeffsAero/IMG_9440_zpsnd2k8vaq.jpg (http://s987.photobucket.com/user/JeffsAero/media/IMG_9440_zpsnd2k8vaq.jpg.html)

Nice....Looks like your next purchase may be a new rear tire!

Actually the rear tire is in great condition. The pic doesn't do it justice. Only 7500 kms.:nono:

Could you have handled a darker tint ?

I would say no, but that's just my opinion. Med gray is as dark as I would go.
