the weight limit on the f6b rack says 6 pounds, does that seem low to anyone else? I got a big rack bag to use on weekend trips and the bag aline is 10 pounds, it will probably be in the 35 pd range when all packed. I know the standard goldwing can take 35 more pounds where the rack sits because the trunk is usually mounted there. Why would the rack rating be so low? Anyone have experience loading it up above its stated limit?

I think it's because the Honda rack can barely hold a gallon of milk. Load it up, I won't tell.

Agree with Bobby. If you can get it on there, it will carry it. I've had mine loaded down with never a prob.

Ya, it's small. Honda rack, that is. If you have a soft bag to mount on it, put something stiff in the very bottom of the bag to keep it flat, so it doesn't hang or scuff the saddle bags. Works for me. I haven't put 35lbs on it, but mid 20s, for sure. :icon_cool:

Don't forget to crank up the rear suspension preload! (where it's comfortable)

Most of us have it halfway riding solo.
