Just stopped by the local Cycle Gear and noticed that they have the "no sweat" mesh seat pads clearanced priced at 19.95, regularly 49.95 . Here are the advantages:

1: Keeps your arse drier than a diaper when it's hot.

2: For you guys with the fancy, smancy, stitched seats, just throw this on until your seat dries out after a rain or washing.

3: At maybe 1/2" thickness, you can use this on to relieve pressure points and extend your ride, when the old butt starts to give out.

4: This is waaay cheaper than what I paid for mine, and equal quality.

I also have one that I use on my backrest to keep my lower back dry.
Or.......you can just buy some Gold Bond.

In store item I believe.
I got one at my local Cycle Gear store in Madison, Wi. Got it free, when I spent over $100. Works great, too. Lightweight, folds or rolls up. Just lets a bit of air under the BUTT.

I forgot they had a store in Madison.
I have a friend that lives there.
Guess who is going to get a call tomorrow?:icon_biggrin:

I have the large, but the extra large will fit on the stock seat.

Why has no jean company made a pair of jeans that have a vented crotch area?
It sure would be nice to reach down and unzip them like my Technic riding jacket does under the arm pit area.
Stop laughing.
I am being serious.:icon_lol:

I have a beaded seat cover, but can't figure out how to mount it.
I had it on my v Star 1300 which had a narrower seat.
I love it.
It keeps you cool by having constant air flow under your butt.
