Does a Gold Wing center stand bolt right up to a F6B?
I found a couple on ebay, without the hardware (which sucks by the way).
I am going to buy one eventually or when I can find a reasonably priced one.
I am not interested in a drive off one.

I found the same thing and then used Partzilla for the rest of the hardware. I think the rest of the hardware ran about $35.

Yes; its the same stand. Unlike something like the mirrors which are sold as an assembly, each and every piece needed for the center stand can be bought individually. If you find a good deal on a bare stand, go for it.

What does that mean?
I tried searching about these stands and couldn't find anything.

He's agreeing with the prior two posts... the stand is the same and the loose parts can be had for about $30.

There's no trick to this Doug, but there are a couple of tricky points in the installation; one of the inserts has reverse threads for instance.

George that's nothing for a stepper like Doug. His middle name is tricky.

You guys slay me.

For all the cool stuff and mods... the center stand is probably in the top 3 of the best things for my bike. If you do your own maintenance you REALLY need one.

For those of you that added the center stand, did you notice it scraping sooner or limiting your clearance or cornering. I purchased a base 6 and have added backrest and heated grips. Windshield or center stand is next. Thanks in advance

Shouldn't. That thang is tucked right up there. Call it Caitlyn. :yikes:

Agreed. The center stand has zero impact when you're not using it; I never even heard mine clank when I hit a big bump.

The only time my center stand scrapes is when I run it up on the lift. And just barely.

By the way these guys have almost anything you need. I bought my spare wheel with a new stone on it last year. Its a takeoff. Never ridden on though.

Doug they have it as a complete kit. Everything you need is included. I get my Honda filters from them also. Cheaper than my local dealer. Nice guys to deal with also.

+1 on HOR; good guys and fair prices. Fwiw, they put a lot of their stuff on eBay... so what you see there could very well be from HOR, just check the seller listing.
