If you are looking to go to chrome stock pipes for the look, I am will to trade mine straight up for your black pipes. I will even pay shipping both ways.

Or if you are just changing your black pipes for something else send me a PM and we can work something out.

I am planning on doing all my mods and upgrades the first of July, so think about it.

I see a parking lot mod at the Microtel in September. My favorite events for local car clubs were the mod meets, performing mods to LX's for free.

Me too, and I will buy my dealing partner dinner!

How much is powder coating? Why not just powder coat your pipes?

It's the sound I like. Power coating is good for heat shields. For direct contact on a muffler requires ceramic coating.

oh so I'm not the only one!

No PM's yet. I guess the deal hasn't been sweetened enough.

The 2015's sound different?

Yes. From now on you guys and gals are behind us since we have the fastest year. Always sounds different from the rear.

Ah stroguy, apparently owning a 2015 makes people delusional.
We are behind you because we have already been where you are going and are about to pass you again.:icon_lol:

Ok... now we need sound clips!

My co-worker has a 13 and said mine sounded different. One of the reasons I went with a 15 was the black exhaust. I can't stand chrome, about like I can't stand brass fixtures in a house. I go for the mono-chromatic paint schemes on cars too.

I did this video when I first got my bike. But, just raising the RPMS, sitting in my garage does not do the actual sound justice. The sound of this bike going down the road, increasing throttle and gaining speed, it has a really nice deep tone.

Thanks for that NV.

Sound clips (and even pictures) don't always capture the essence... but when you walk around the rear of the bike at about the 55s mark, I *think* I hear a distinct difference from how my bike sounds. The 2015 sounds to me to be a bit "throatier" and "lumpier"... but I'd need to confirm in person. Both of these sound qualities in an exhaust are good btw :icon_biggrin:

Doug you're right. Stro is delusional. 53 is going to talk to him about it. You guys know my 2013 is the fastest. George already said I gained 30 or 40 HP from the V&H.
