I currently run a oem tall windshield. I like the vent, but its too tall. Want a little more wind for warm weather, but I am not sure what height i want.

Anyone make an adjustable height windshield with a vent?

Ergomot - Electronically adjustable, but spendy.

There has been talk on the forum before about fitting the full Goldwing manual adjusters to the F6B, but as far as I know. it hasn't been done. Many will tell you to forget about the vent and get a Madstad or Windbender if you want to be able to adjust the height.

I have a MadStad. The form is not too pretty to look at but the function makes up for it. Here in Florida it is nice to be able to drop the windshield and get some air but pop it up for highway cruising.

Do you miss the vent? I was thinking of using a MadStad to determine what height that I like, then cut down my tall OEM shield, but it sounds like you adjust it based on the type of riding.

Does the MadStad mount to the low OEM shield?

You can cut it down if you want. I have a tall Honda F6B shield cut down to 14 inches high and a shield from a full wing cut down and redrilled to 15 inches high. Check Craigslist or fleabay for a used shield and you can experiment. If you were close to Phoenix I'd let you borrow one.
