I've been running the 888 on the front for about 6 months. Michelin dark side on the rear. Metz is great. Sticks good in the corner.

May not be a fair comparison given bike weight differences, but I've got 12,000 miles on my Metz 888 on a VTX 1300 (rear tire) and it looks like new. Have had no issues whatsoever -- great tire. The 880 on the front has same mileage and is definitely wearing faster but still has a full riding season of life left in it.

I am getting close to needing new tires and looking to try these. They have been getting great reports on the Goldwing site as far as grip and wear.I ran the 880's for 80K on my Roadstar and loved them but the 888"s are a much stiffer sidewall then those and made more for the touring weight of these bikes.
