With permission of the moderators I have taken on the mission of constructing F6B mechanics shirts for your pleasure. This is something our local Dodge LX car club did and it was a big hit, especially at the local Cars N Coffee event. This is not my business, not a side business and will not inflate into one. I am doing a favor and a feeler for the members here to dress for success and pride with the F6B mechanics shirt.

These shirts are at 50% completion, awaiting patches and my seamstress. My seamstress is a wedding dress maker and a perfectionist, so I am at her mercy for time but she typically accommodates my needs in 1-2 days. My rough estimate is these shirts are at 14-18 days from being shipped. I only have 9 shirts in hand at this time and as I say this is a feeler. I will be glad to extend and purchase more shirts if the demand is there. Let's see where the first 9 go.

If there is additional interest I would also be happy to shop a ladies shirt and have those made as well. I would also be glad to order plus sizes but they do typically cost a few dollars more when you go past the XXL sizing. We will take that as it goes.

My goal is to dress the rally attendees. I am trying to get these shirts out as fast as possible so you may want to have your shirt embroidered or have the flag of your home country added or anything of your choosing. The blank slate is yours.

Here are the renderings that I did in MSPaint so please don't criticize me for the angle of the patch. The seamstress will do a perfect job.

The Dickies only start the TALL in the XL from what I found. Shirts are pretty lengthy as is. Do you have a long torso?

Yes, long torso.
They do look lengthy, and I have generally found US made shirts to be on the generous side for overall length. And because these are short sleeves, arm length should be irrelevant.
I might just try the Large then. Can you guesstimate shipping cost by USPS to Canada, postal code R2V 4M9?

Just wanted to throw out how I got here since there have been a few inquiries for modifications to patches.

The egg in my head that hatched early last month was to have patches made that covered the colors of every bike, black, red, yellow, blue and the ultra fast Matte Silver. But it was quickly apparent I would never pull it off in a fiscal manner that would get buyers and then result in no shirts and no patches. I then thought about this patch with colored mecahnics shirts. But the colors on the Dickies and Red Kap shirts just didn't match well. This would have been a very slow process as well. So I picked the most popular but slower black F6B representative, you can tell by the silver pipes in the patch example. I also wanted the F6B logo on the patch but was stone walled by several patch makers that I would need a copyright release from Honda for the use of the logo. Yeah right I aintnot gonna go that far for this bunch. I love you but not that much. I could have gone to the land of the China and had it done no problem but lead times would have killed having the shirts in time for the rally. So here we are at this moment where I can get these back to the rally goers in time to do embroidery of your choice. But these shirts are not just for rally goers, they are for all. So I hope you enjoy your shirt as I am a big fan of the Dickies shirts. Can't wait to meet you keyboards face to face.

I am gonna have a pot sweetener in about 10 days so stay tuned for a separate post.
