Hi, yesterday i traded my 2011 bmw rt for a black f6b deluxe and so far i love it.(130 miles) I find it needs a windshield and i'm looking at a f4 at 5ft. 10in. can anyone advise me as to what size i would need to be just looking over it? Has anyone purchased a corbin backrest pad that replaces the standard pad on the bike? I see there is an extension that will rase the pad i have up but it would still be smaller than the corbin. Any help would be great.

Thanks........Richie

5 11", Cee Bailey 13" for me also. My wife and daughter were fine with stock backrest, but I bought ebay riser to try cuz it was cheap. Been too hot here for my girls to review...

I bought the honda windshield it's tall enough but would like it wider.
Look at my old post u can see how I rised my backrest + u can get 1 on ebay now.
I have not seen any replacements backrests in person.

I am thinking of a 16in. windshield but not sure if it's to high. Anyone have a 16 in. on there bike?

I'm 5' 10" 220 lbs.
I use baggershield 11" sport shield dark tinted. It can be installed at 11 inches or as I have it 12.75".
It seems to work very well for me and still keeps close to the original looks of the bike.

It's a 15-25 minute install.

I went with the Cee Bailey 15". It's perfect for me. I look over the top of it, but it's tall enough to channel the air over the top of my helmet.

Enjoy your new ride, and welcome!

Richie, we have riders at 5'6" to 5'10" who are reporting the 14" to be good for them. Our feedback is that the 12" was just not high enough, but we can cut one for your needs. Don't forget, ours are polycarbonate and will not shatter or break. Tinted or clear and vented or non-vented available. We will get you comfy on that bike, and do it for 15% off and free shipping this month!

I'll be getting an F4 later. Can't advise you on height, but if you end up measuring while on the bike, be sure it's not resting on the center stand as this can slightly affect your measurements. Best wishes.

Honda Raider, you brought up a good issue for those measuring for the correct shield. Also, a reminder that we have the Ride-off center stand available. These stands reduce the effort of putting your bike ON the stand by at least 60% and then you simply RIDE OFF when you are ready to roll!
