I saw a van of theirs on the road and looked them up. They have an impressive exhaust but :yikes: it's pricey!!! Click on PRODUCTS and go from there. Pretty cool.

And the reason they are so expensive($2,050 for the F6B) is because, one they are made of SS and secondly they have an electrically controlled baffle inside the muffler that opens and closes as you ride allowing a straight through system or when closed an baffled sound. This is all controlled by a "Smart Box" http://www.jekillandhyde.com/EN_Global/smartbox
I want to hear the F in the wide open mode. Check out all their vids, they show in good detail how the system works.:icon_cool:
I sent them an e-mail a few months ago, but have not heard back from them.

Nope, but I did just resend it and thinking about trying a land line to see if I get a response. I sent the e-mail with my shop logo and Biz info expressing an interest in more than one set.

Seems interesting. Not $2K interesting though. Noticed they only have 1 dealer in all of the US, and that's in NY.

I heard them, sounded great on the gold wing. He is installing them at the show.

They must have been heading up there when I saw them in Beatty, NV.

All I can say is they don't answer their e-mail, I have now sent 3 over the last month with no response.

Got to see and hear a pair of "Dos Amigos" exhausts on a 2015 Matte Gray F6B on a 300 mile group ride yesterday. They looked great and sounded nice from what I could hear (we were in a group of loud bikes).

During our discussion, the "Jekyll & Hyde" exhaust came up and the owner of the Matte Gray F6B brought up the good point about the need for 2 maps, one for each loud and quiet modes. Anyone know if the designers of the "Jekyll & Hyde" exhaust has addressed this issue and if so, how ?

TIA

After thee e-mail sent over a month I got a response today from Jekill & Hyde Exhaust.
Dear Larry,
Many thanks for your email and your interest in our products.
My colleague Stefano Bertani is responsible for our US activities and can give you all the requested info.
As he is in the US at the moment, I’m not sure if he can check his email every day, but I’m sure he will contact you on a short notice.

Kind regards,
Mit freundlichem Gruß,
Met vriendelijke groet,

I have sent a second in a month e-mail to Stefane Bertani in NY and await a reply.

To the question "about the need for 2 maps, one for each loud and quiet modes. Anyone know if the designers of the "Jekyll & Hyde" exhaust has addressed this issue and if so, how?" I believe it is done with a "Smartbox" or sometimes called a "Black box" depending what page on their web site you are on.

"The advantages of the Smartbox: Faster installation on the motorcycle Only one mode switch to control the complete system LED light to indicate the actual driving mode. Future proof because of the Bluetooth options in the Smartbox system.
Automatic mode: stand open mode (which is an approved legal European mode) Can read Canbus signals of the motorcycle - See more at: http://www.jekillandhyde.com/en_global/smartbox#sthash.uMPF7mUC.dpuf

"The Blackbox is programmed to automatically regulate our Exhaust Systems to comply with legislation according to EC 97/24.You may acquire an optional sound switch that is included in the EC type approval which allows the system to be used in the regulated mode as well as in a closed mode.
The exhaust systems already includes a Mode Switch for Blackbox, which gives the rider the option to ride with the system in automatic mode as well as in closed mode."

I will relay updates as they become available.:301:
