Note for anyone installing a 12v accessory plug in the left compartment. Make sure when you drill the 7/8 mounting hole you put it about halfway down the box to allow clearance under the fairing it mounts in. Otherwise you will need to get a 7/8 plug on your next trip to the hardware store.

Honda has already marked the drill spot. If you look closely you can see the recommended start point.

My cubby had a bullseye X where the hole should be drilled, drilled it there and had no problem.

We do have access to a library of Honda .pdf installation diagrams for different accessories. Maybe before your next project check out the library to see if it will cover off what you want to install. I don't have the link but maybe someone else has and can post it again for you.

Its a battle scar that you will look at and laugh every time you open it..all good

I added two power ports...after I had one installed, decided I needed two...not that I have ever used it.... I bought another cubby, drilled both holes straight away as it was easier for me at that angle...
