I was hoping you were talking about tires for your motorcycle and not something else......sounds like you are ready for the trip

Since I've only had my F6b a couple weeks, can you disclose how many miles were on your worn out set and how much tread was left, if any? Just trying to get an idea if there's any pros or cons of staying with Bridgestones.

Thanks!

I've been running a 70 series Avon Cobrasw on the back end of my Wing for about 30K ... 3 sets of tires at 10K each.

I like them. They correct the speedo error according to my GPS. And, give me more lean in the corners without scrubbing my foot/pegs. Changes the ride to a more cushy feeling without loss of aggression, IMO.

Me too. 2nd set of Bridgestones and new brakes all the way around.
Getting ready for Franklin.
Original tires lasted little over 14000, could have gone more, the set Of Bridgstones I'm replacing have little over 18000
with some time let on them, but want new rubber for the 2000 mile trip.

Thanks, guys!

14k out of a rear Bridgestone wouldn't be too bad for the price. I've run nothing but Avon Cobras on my Valk fronts. Good to know they'll fit the B.

But I'm thinking the Bridgestone would actually be cheaper. At least we have some choices. I hear the new Valks don't have many, if any for their front tires.

I got right at 12000 out of the rear ,not quite smooth but time . I think the front will go another 2 or 3 thou. went with the bridge stone.

Watch for the THP, on the Dragon , he stands outside vehicle so he can hear them coming thru curves

17K out of the first front, 15k on the first rear,

12k on the 2nd front, 14k on 2nd rear (took 2nd set off early for fresh tires for TOTD)

from now on i'll ride them til 15k unless an uncoming road trip dictates earlier

i have a spare rear rim, and i REALLY wish i had a second front rim

Still considering changing mine out. They still look good ,but I am thinking to head to Memphis, then Huntsville. Tires have close to 13K on them and from the way they look I think I could make it with no problems, but don't need the worry of old tires.
Whats tripping me out is that I have the Bridgestone on the front and Dunlop on the rear. No issues,no wobble ,steady in the rain and tracks great at speed in the twisties which is where I ride most of the time-noticed one day when I was checking the air pressure.
Now should I repeat that configuration or go same front an back?
