DAYTONA - Biketoberfest 2015 Gathering

While in Franklin, several discussed possibly getting together in Daytona.

Biketoberfest runs October 15th - 18th

Traditionally, several of us have gathered at the Cracker Barrel on International Speedway Blvd on Friday morning for breakfast, this year that would be October 16th for those that are interested.

After breakfast we visit the Motorcycle manufacturers tents, take some test rides, look at the new models and then walk over to the vendors.

Then we ride to a lunch destination and possibly stop at J&P's vendor area.

If anyone is interested, just chime in.

Me and StraightWings are going to ride in from Pensacola on the 14th or 15th.
Haven't seen his travel itinerary yet.
Since he is flying in from Vancouver, he will be on Isleen and I'll be riding Saorla.

Any thoughts about having two meetings...one for breakfast at the Crack House @9:00...and dinner at BJ's @ 7:00 for dinner.... why not show up for both !!!

Some folks have to cross the entire state to get there and 9 am may be a little tough, then you would be to tired to stay for the night time activities, ( which are why I go ).... just a thought !

I have it on good authority that Chunky himself will be making an appearance in Florida for Biketoberfest. I am looking for one of the forum members with a garage full of bikes that could loan him a bike for a few days as he is flying in for this engagement. The closer to Tampa the better. We are going to see about rentals as well but I thought I would ask the forum first.

Sorry I missed it, had a Very Stupid accident yesterday, making a sharp right out of my driveway, didn't get my right foot up quick enough, the rear crash bar caught me behind the heal and jammed my toe straight down not the pavement.:icon_doh:
Right foot swollen quite a bit, don't think anything is broken, but in a little pain.:yikes:

Ouch. Keep it elevated and iced. If the swelling doesn't go down or it gets more painful or starts to turn a dark color get it x rayed. Could be a blood clot or fracture. 20% of the bones in your body are in your feet. I had a friend who died from a clot in his foot that traveled into his heart.

Hey girl!! How ya doin?? You are ahead with this one but I also have my rigid frame I ride. You'll pass me during winter so give us something to shoot for. Broke down and put different pegs on and going to order a Madstad this week. If you haven't done anything yet, just be good and maybe Santa will bring you some stuff. Not long to wait.
