Air filter replacement

I when to my dealer today to ask about replacing the air cleaner. In my manual it says replace at 12,000 miles, my dealer said I could go to about 16,000 miles. He would charge $85 for labor plus air cleaner. I know I could do the change myself. But for 85 bucks I think I will let them do it.
What are you guys paying for your air cleaner change or are you doing it yourself?

Changed my filter at approximately 30K miles and it's no "cake walk":shock: Several hours and "over-use" of profanity gets the job done:shhh:
Glad I did it! IMHO getting it done by the dealer for $85 sounds great if your willing to let someone else touch your ride. Personally, there's been enough "horror stories" written about the "not so great work" accomplished by "stealer service departments". One has a choice! "PAY THE PRICE OR PEACE OF MIND":icon_wink:
