The 2016 4th F6B Annual Rally will be held in Russellville Arkansas

Early arrivals on Tuesday afternoon September 20th, 2016
Ride Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Departure for most on Saturday morning September 24th, 2016

We will have multiple rides through the OZARKS
We will have a ride into the Bikes, Blues and BBQ Rally for some BBQ and visit some vendors
We will have an optional ride into Branson
We will have a Tech session at Honda of Russellville with their top technician (removal and install of Air filter).
We will have a short Self-Defense class by a former US Marine that currently teaches our Marines the course.

Hotel details, restaurants and actual rides will be posted at a later date.

Trying to find a Hotel that can accommodate 60-80 of us, is halfway decent and under $70 per night (plus tax)

Hope to see a large group

Ready for next year. This year seemed crowded, maybe due to the Pig Trail being closed. Clogged up some of the other routes. I want to ride the Ozark Grand Canyon Route next year. Picked up the Arkansas motorcycle riding guide and it has all the routes and trails. It is a great resource you can pick up at their Welcome Centers.

We left Cadillac on our color tour in a snowstorm the 2nd week in September one year, and we didn't get out of the snow until after Gaylord. The rest of the time was cold but sun was out in the afternoon. Right today this morning was 38 degrees at my house and they say tomorrow is going to be colder.

I have an open trailer that fit my M109R but this F6B is way to long for it and I wouldn't trailer it in an open unit for love nor money. It doesn't matter if you have a cover on it or not the garbage winds up in every nook and cranny on the bike. I would need an enclosed one but no one I know has one big enough for this long drink of water motorcycle.

I was planning a trip down to Kentucky to have a look at a highway tunnel I did some early engineering work on. Not a big stretch to head down a couple more states. Well, that is farther than it is for me. I would consider taking the "Blue Roads" and not be ashamed to stay 2 nights in hotels on the way. That's why I travel mostly alone, I can stop when & where I want to without upsetting anyone else' plans.

I dont have an F6B, ( regular wing ) But I love to ride and I love bar b que, so if you'll let a regular winger ride I'm in. Also I've ridden in Arkansas with a fella named Monk from the GL1800 riders forum on the Darksiders ride in and it was a great ride, would love to have an excuse to go back.

I hope so too. Father son activities for guys like us mean everything. Take the time now while things are still functioning...it's what I'm starting to do. This trip will be the longest I ever did. Yes sir. The BBB festival is going on. Bikes, Blues, and Barbeque. Could be 20-30k bikes in the area, depending on the weather. Rooms may be tuff to locate. This festival has been going on for many years. Regulars make their rsvps early! Lets hope we can find rooms for all.

I believe that the BBB is about 2 hours from where we'll be staying. We'll be in Russellville, Ar.

That is true, that Russellville is away from the BBB. Check on the BBB website, says last year, over 400,000 people attended the festival, obviously not all bikers, and they have a web page displaying their daily rides. They do all the majors- like the Pig Trail. Should still be a great time for the "6 Rally", just expect plenty of company.

The nearby Nuclear Plant (7 miles away) will be bringing in 100's of workers from around the country to do its annual shutdown (cleaning/recharging/servicing) during the entire month of September. All of the Hotels in the area will start booking up before you know it.

Rooms will be at a premium if you wait until the last minute. BOOK now and you can always cancel your reservation the week prior to our event if your plans change.

Apparently Stro , these guys didn't grow up hard like we did. Stro and I used to share a one holer outhouse. Lemme tell ya , there was a lot of give and take. Stro can't take a dump in less than three hours. I would have to threaten to turn it over before he would come out. I like Arbys too buddy. Its better than tough steak. I can honestly say I was stunned. I had no clue at all the modifications. At how different all the bikes are. I couldn't even comprehend. I was stunned.

It's fascinating. So many variations. If you want to see how a certain mod looks/acts, there will be someone there who has it. A whole lot of really super cool F6B variations. And wait until you hear JimmieTee's sound system. Lol. Make sure that happens for you.

And a whole lot of super cool people variations. And that rocks, too.

I'm riding with those beyotches tomorrow. My mama ceaselessly strategizes ways to get me to go to church. So her latest scheme is "Bike Day" at their church. Soooo, I'm riding in with the HD girls and some others.

I'm not going inside, though. I'll sit in the parking lot and smoke cigars, but I ain't goin inside. (That's just talk. I'm not trying to get a switchin from my mama in front of my HD girls in the church parking lot. I pretty much do what she tells me to do.)

Shooter, I'm sure you'll be relieved to know I survived Biker Day at church. :) My dad is retired but he occasionally gets back behind the pulpit. Today was one of those days and he did a great job.

Of course, I've got some HD stories for you.

I parked and was taking off my gear, talking to my buds and the lady that was running everything comes flying out into the parking lot, "I've been trying to get everyone's picture when they pull up, but I didn't hear you drive up!"

And the HD people thought that was the funniest thing they've heard in 2016.

Then at the beginning of the service, they were playing a biker video, showing a procession. Only the sound guy couldn't get the audio to cooperate. And someone hollers, "Must be a bunch of Hondas!"

And that was the second funniest thing my HD buds have heard in 2016.

But my dad preached an excellent sermon, paralleling the journey on a bike with the journey of life and he got in an HD crack from the pulpit which made me love him a lot today. :)

He was talking about taking risks on a bike and taking risks in life.

"I had a friend out in Texas who rode a Goldwing. Kelly, do you remember Luke Nall?"

"Yes, sir"

"That Luke would put his wife on the back and ride all over the country. And I said, 'Luke, aren't you worried out there?' And Luke said, 'Truman, there are only two things I worry about on the road out there: dogs and Harley parts.'"

And my dad was my favorite person today :)

Teach , that is so cool. Your Dad is a neat guy. I bet he's a lot of fun to be around. And I bet his sermons are almost always about real life. That's the kind of preacher I like listening to. One that tells a story and makes you want to listen. Sounds like you had a good day. My two brother in laws stopped by the shop to visit the other day. Middle of the week and 70 degrees. Bikes were out in droves. Groups of HD's pouring down the hwy. I look up and see 3 nice Wings coming over the hill. Beautiful paint in vivid colors on all three. I yell at Roger and David , "hey , look at the Wings" they both turn and look. Roger says , good thing you hollered. We couldn't hear em coming. And its true. Us Wingers are a quiet bunch. I always tell my brother in laws , both HD riders , I make the most noise when I'm going around a Harley.

I don't know about you guys but I'm getting excited about the rally. Should be good times with new friends and some good riding in one of the prettiest States in the US. Hard to find that much untouched territory anywhere and yet still have some good roads. Tony has some nice activities planned so we should have a blast. I can tell I'm getting old. I'm excited about the slow race. Anyway looking forward to putting some faces with names. Only 5 more months.
