I have owned two other Gold Wings a 2008 and 2012. I can not believe how much lighter the F6B feels and the easy of handling. I took a video of slow riding and turning with my 2015 F6B. You can do the same with a standard Gold Wing but it feels so much easier on the F6B. I always like the handling in slow turns with a Harley but the F6B is about like a Harley in handling.

Hey Jerry, nice video. Great sound too!

I think you mean to say the F6B 'ease' of handling? :icon_mrgreen:

A couple of things-- handles like a Harley? Uh, don't think so! At least I hope not!

Also, what's that thing hanging off the back of your bike?

Could we see your video to learn how it should be done even more smoothly?

Depends on the Harley. The Soft-tail I had was comparable to the F6B, but the Sportster had a much higher center of gravity. And really I think the f6B is even better than the Soft-tail.

Very nice. :clap2:

I know how hard it is to keep that gray color B that slow, that smooth. The other color B riders just don't get it. :icon_lol:

Thanks for sharing

Nice riding, Jerry. I would be happy doing those turns. What gear were you in? I've read that higher gears (2 & 3) are easier to handle. TIA

Good job, jerrym. I'd also like to know if you did that in first or second gear. In what little slow speed practice I've done with the B since I bought it. I find it's a tad hard to feather it in first.

I fine second gear is best to use. In first gear it is to slow and the throttle on a Goldwing is to sensitive. That is where I have found the older Harley's easier to do slow turns. I have not tried it on the newer Harley's but if you watch the Motorcycle Police do their rides they use the throttle more.

It takes some practice but if start doing it comes real fast. If you notice I have a perfect place to do it in front of my house on a dead end street with no traffic. About very time I come home a make a few turns and that helps. I have been riding motorcycles for 60 years and when you get older it helps to practice slow turns.
