Ive found the neatest solution for phone / GPS mounting.
A product called the Lifeproof accesory mount.
It uses a magnet adhered to the case or back of your GPS, and Ive mounted the holder assembly to my cubby lid. It is in full view of me while riding and allows me to see incomming calls, and navigation from the phone, into my helmet mounted Sena 10U setup (Again, the neatest and most effective bluetooth setup available).
Holds strongly, and just twist to remove your device.
Highly recommended for a clutter free set up.
Ride safe all.

Sorry about the sideways photos everyone. Bloody Apple!
More photos of the simple flush mount set up.
Also, my Shoei GT Air helmet with the Sena 10U fitted. You can see the internal on/off buttons and mike.
There is no external module, all fits unobtrusively inside. It pairs with my phone/ nav and you can see the external control on the left hand grip. A great set up and works beautifully.
Best wishes all.
