As a few of you know we did sell one of our bikes a couple of months ago (to our nephew in Michigan) and did get a new 2016 Ultra Classic Limited. The color from the factory is Back Quartz Metallic.
We had to have painting that was at least as good as my F6B and of course as good as Teresa's Spyder.
This is a picture of the start on the Fairing. As you can guess, Dragons and Castles.
Picture is not Clear Coated and not quite done yet.
Painting is being done again by Mike Lamborne of MountainMan Art (http://www.mountainmanart.com/).

Am going through the same thing now tearing down the F6B to do some painting.
Great work on the castles.
Harleys are a bit easier to tear down to paint, did one or two myself.
These F6s are a bit of a pain because of all the parts and small stuff like the the trim
on the side of shelters and the parts from around the brake calipers ect.

You are right. The parts came off the bike fairly easily. Just a lot of little things to take apart like hinges, trim pieces etc.
The F6B is a little more difficult on a few of the pieces. When we did our F6B it was taken apart and pieces painted at Honda of Russellville then we had all of the pieces sent to WV to Mike for all of the art work to be painted on and then re cleared.
It was then all sent back and they (HOR) put it all back together.

Teresa came up with some very intricate castles. They were not from Movies, but it looks like we picked a good theme, all kinds of imagination here. We were wanting a dark theme, something that you will think about.
Mike is putting his own artistic touches on everything. All of the Murals will have the same general look and design but different. The dragons will be similar also but different.
As you can see, he is one of the best artistic bike painters there is.

We have one side of the tank done, no clear coat yet.
More castle's to go with the dragon's coming for the Saddlebag's and trunk.
Mike (MountainMan) (http://www.mountainmanart.com/) has done a superb job so far. His artistic talent along with Teresa's vision is pretty good so far.

Mike and I were wondering what paint job you were going to add to those $3000 dollar rims but you have exceeded our expectations for sure, stunning paint job!
I am sure you will stick with that guy when it comes to paint, haven't seen anything nicer done by anyone.:clap2::clap2::clap2:

Rick, that is a superb paint job. However the HD on the tank ruins the overall theme. It has no business being part of this fantastic artwork.

Thanks,

I am going to have to pass on this years F6B Rally. I strongly suggest anyone with an F6B to go, great time, good riding and the people are the best.

Last Summer we purchased an Alaskan Cruise for next September. We will not be back until 9/15/16 from the cruise, then we are going to another rally in Maggie Valley NC leaving on 10/1/16. Just not enough time for everything.

The painting is by Mike Lamborne of MountainMan Art (http://www.mountainmanart.com/). He has been a very good friend of ours for over 20 years. He has painted all of our bikes for the last 20 years also.
He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and they live up in the mountains of WV near Circleville.

They do about 20 rallies a year, schedule is on their web site. At rallies they do mostly pin striping and murals. Air Brush Art with clear coating like mine is shop work done at their place in WV.
Below is a picture of their house taken in November when I dropped the bike off
