Anyone have a service manual they wish to sell, (F6B). I need to remove the side shield over my radiator on the clutch side of my 6. Removing the lower front cowell is easy, but now I need to get the side off. Got a very slow drip of anti-freeze somewhere in there. Maybe a loose hose clamp? I tried to search the forum for hints, but didn't have any success. I should get a service manual anyway, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :icon_biggrin:

Is your 6 no longer under warranty?
I'd ask the dealer to figure that one out.

Sorry. I haven't bought a repair manual for this bike, yet. Hoped I wouldn't have too.

Bike is still under warranty, but my dealer is 40 miles away, and the roads are salted now. I don't even like to get my trailer out in the salty crap. I need to learn to dis-assemble the tupperware anyway. I changed out the stock winshield lont time ago, so I know how some of it works. Just don't want to snap any tabs off parts if I can avoid it. I have read some threads where some others have had that happen. Guess I have all winter to figure it out. John

Steve,
Did you ever get delivery of the manuals? I am going to be in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale the last week of December.

"Wingstuff" just sent me an E-mail: the Service Manual is Delayed until mid January. So, I'm not to thrilled with them. Guess I will check with a dealer, to try and get one sooner.

That's not true. Helm sells to the public. My dealer gave me their phone # and said I could get it just as quick myself. He was right.

Thanks for the phone # for Helm. I gave them a call this morning. Unfortunately, they are out of stock. Called my dealer, he said 3 weeks, so going to another dealer this afternoon. Honda wants $10 more than Wingstuff, too. :yikes:

If someone is in dire need for this manual and cannot wait until they are available again,

I have a "emergency" supply of new manuals just in case someone needs to repair something right away.

If you can wait … great, otherwise, I can help.

Since I just got the bike and don't know much regarding the mechanics of it, I'll definitely be ordering one when the become available. In the meantime, hopefully, the warranty should handle most of the problems if encountered.
