I was looking through some recent photos that i took in Tasmania (Van Diemans Land) and came across a couple of ones i thought may have been of interest. The photos are taken near St Marys where there is a number of Government controlled Opium Poppy fields producing Opium for the medical industry. Apparently Tassy produces upto 80% of the worlds Class 8 drugs.
Interesting to see that the only security is the occasional sign on the fence.

They are all over the place Chris, as you say security is minimal and at least 4 maybe more people have died from jumping the fence and trying it for home consumption.
