My buddy Mark and I have logged well over 40,000 miles riding together over the last 17 years. We have been to many of the big rallys--Daytona, Myrtle Beach, etc and have done numerous week long rides from Penn to Florida to Tenn and West Va. Over the years, he has watched as I have changed my Harleys, 2 Victorys and now the F6B into different looks using just PlastiDip, rattle can paint and powercoat. So last week he dropped off his Versys and told me to "Surprise Him". No requests---no color choice--no ideas. He just tells me to make it different than all the other bikes like I do my own.

Hummmmm. I used to think he was a rather smart guy. :shake2:

Now I wish I had taken a picture before I started. Maybe he has one I can get to post later.

It's a Kawasaki, paint it white and black then add udders. With the price of milk you can't go wrong!

My bad.

I tried the Rust Oleum version of PlastiDip---I will never use it again. It is no cheaper than the real thing and is very runny.

Anyway---after a few coats of the "Dip" I painted it with Pumpkin Orange Krylon paint. After that, I hit with a coat or two of "Night Eyes" for a bit of a different look. Tomorrow is scheduled for a few coats of clear gloss.

That is going to look very interesting. What a concept of colors. I don't think I could of imagined that one up...

Old Ryder, that colour looks great. And..you're a good buddy.

Kind of a KTM variant which suits the bike model.

Looking pretty good after some glossy clear coat. I hope to have time to start putting things together tomorrow.

PS---- my second choice for the base color was Krylon Citrus Green.
