Was he insured!

If he was; insurance may not cover it. There are clauses for non-coverage in many policies; for operating a vehicle in a foolish manner such as that.

This is on tape now and any insurance adjuster that comes across it has proof that the insured was operating the vehicle in a reckless manner.

Another proof that HD's don't like curves (or is it their riders?):

Some more natural selection at work:

And finally, my favorite: How to look cool while crashing (also known as WhO Needs ATGATT, I Don't Even Use a Shirt):

Those type of riders is why I hesitate attending many of the local biker events....Most seems to spend all their time worried about trying to look cool, but almost no time on real riding skills.

If I was parked at an event and some DipS@#! trying to look cool sent his bike plowing into mine....I'd probably get arrested because I'd beat the S^#t outts the DumbF^$3

Watching the "When you get traction" video....I mean you have to laugh at the scene...especially the cussing after getting thrown off the bike. Looks like everyone was alright, except lighter in the wallet perhaps.

Showing off sometimes just doesn't go as planned.

I sent the video link to a friend who thinks the Harley riders are a little too arrogant...he laughed so hard he cried!

That's at Edwards Corner - "photograph curve" - on Mulholland Highway in the Santa Monica mountains. It's an uphill, decreasing radius curve - and it's where all the photographers hang out so everyone wants to try to "impress" the cameras as they enter - and get caught on the exit (like this guy). I have some nice photos of me cutting that curve, but you cannot - CANNOT - forget it's a decreasing radius curve or you'll trash like that guy (it happens probably 3-4 times a month).

I feel the need to balance the post with some good stuff. This is on the same road (love the Monotracer):

Also, not a motorcycle but still an amazing two wheel riding and a great story behind it (google 'Epecuen Flood'):

Thank you! There is no joy in those "fail" videos, only examples to the rest of us when the heat of the moment is egging us on to do something stupid.
