I had seen this not too long ago. Thought about getting one for my other bike till I saw the price $800.

Interesting find. Technology does tend to get cheaper with time.

BMW has had their turning headlight on K1600GTL for a while, same idea and it apparently works really well.

In the past I had K1200LT. There was an accessory lights set available that, mounted on the bottom front fairing, would illuminate sideways when turning. These were pricy too so I never got them. Instead, I ended up installing Moto Lights on lower part of front forks and they were great, too. The idea was that they illuminate where you turn the front forks to, but no compensation for leaning. Still, much better light pattern than just stock. I may still add these to my F6B, but I have to admit I don't like riding at night much, mostly due to deer.
