Almost ready to pull the trigger on these. One question. Is the switch on the dash the only way to cut them off/on? In Va, they must be off when the high is on. Most vehicles when you switch from low beam to high, the fog lights switch off automagically.

That's a good question. In a few states you must have a switch to turn them off either automatically or manually on a motorcycle.

In this case there is an option with the harness to use an extra included relay that will turn them off automatically. This is all plug and play.

You can connect those light to stay on the brights and you can connect them to turn off when the brights come on. Or manually turn them off with the switch. The instruction are there and tells you how to connect them up for each individual taste. I bought my set from Value accessories and leave them on all the time so that matte silver unit can be seen no heard. Mine can be turned off with the switch but I wanted them on no matter what the brights or dims were doing.

No you don't have to purchase anything extra the kit with the lights include everything you need to configure them to what you want them to do. They also come with detailed instructions. This set is awesome and I have mine set so everyone can see me whether the brights are on or the dims are on. I want them to make me more visible during my mostly daytime running.

Hi Rick, I'm interested in the fog lights. Is there an installation video or written instructions you can post so I can figure out if I'm smart enough to install them? Thanks, cueman

I don't think you will have a problem. The hardest part is finding the cable in the left cubby which is kind of hidden, lower right next to where the tank would be in a clear shell.
I have done a couple of them and helped a few people. All of your wiring is already on the bike.

Link to installation page.

Is the wire connector in the left cubby the same wire that one would use for the cig adapter? If so, do you sell a wire connector that would Y so I could run both? Thanks, cueman

No that is not the same the connector you are looking for is below the radio panel.
When you take the radio panel out to install your switch for your lights the connector is below that hole that you
remove the panel from if that makes any since but it is simple.

You will find a large clear cover containing the connecter you will need there will be I believe
four wires in the connector that is black in color .

Hey Rick...I really like these lights but I REALLY want a yellow light. Is there a filter or just a yellow bulb I can use with these?

They do not have Yellow available.
You may be able to use Yellow Headlight Tint. Just an idea. We have all kinds of people using similar tints for tail lights.
