Just had this done on my 2015 Gold Wing. I think the red really pops against the black wheels. It is reflective as well. Hope to pick her up in a few weeks when the salt is finally washed off the road. Getting pumped!:icon_biggrin:

+1 Does look good! I have to say, when I clean my 6, I get lazy and the wheels are the last thing on the bike I clean, and many times, I skip them. I get too anxious to go riding. I have the mat-grey, so my wheels blend in a bit more, when they are unclean. I will make the effort to clean them more often.

That looks good. I have often thought about doing that to wheels on bikes.

To echo "jm21ddd15's" sentiments above as well... this is the first bike that I do not agonized cleaning the wheels... the flat black really hides the road grime.

Looks great I was going do that to my wheels but I went another direction.
It really adds some Bing to wheels.

That does look great! Did you have to take the tire off of the rim to do it?

No, not neccesarry. But I did have a professional do it!

I did something similar to my previous bike that really helped with it getting seen at night, but in the day it looked like a normal stripe. There is a company that sells these hi-vis wheel tapes...they come in all kinds of colors

Looks good! I also like the idea of the reflective properties as it may make me a bit more visible at night in an intersection to the vehicles that are 90° to me.

That red stripe looks really good on your super-go-fast-red bike too. (My bike is also the super-go-fast-red color). I just found the receipt on the ones I put on the NM4, I thought they might have been from the same company but they are actually from a place called Custom Taylor 33. Looks like they added their hi-vis decals to all sizes of wheels, and added helmet and tape stripes to their options. Link to customtaylor33 here (http://www.customtaylor33.com/shop/) if you want to take a peek.

This is my third bike I have done this to.
My Buddy pinstripes cars like the old school hot rods. I had him paint them on.

Hey Luke. Do you mind telling me where you picked up the F6B decals?

Ebay. They can print any text you want. Don't remember any more which vendor it was but there are several if you do a search. Just be sure to order the correct wheel diameter.

Where did you get the F6B badging that took the place of the front fork reflectors. Very cool.
