I just installed the Cobra TriOval slip ons - has anyone else done these?
Here is my experience - is it just me?

The Install sheet says "2001-2013 Goldwing" but once I put them on they actually are about 3 inches shorter than the OEM pipes.
They don't look too bad - I've seen custom baggers with pipes that don't come to the end like that.

Also, the sound - Very nice and low, bass, sound at lower speeds, but at cruising 70+ they are a higher pitch constant drone. Kind of like a sport bike but not as loud, and a little lower tone. Not sure that I am going to like it.

Unfortunately the makers of pipes did not see fit to re-tool their pipes as to fit the 2013 models and they do not plan to...I guess they do not feel there is an issue with the heat/fire coming from the ends of their pipes...I contacted a machinist on the Valkyrie Board and had him make me extensions for my Cobra pipes. These are call Truck Stacks because of the length. You can make your as long or as short as you wish....PM me if you want his eml address...

Thanks Steve,

Wish I would've known this before...maybe others will read this post and see that Pipes for Goldwing before 2013 are too short for F6B.

I guess they really did stretch our bike out!

Maybe Ebay Standard Goldwing will want them.

Put the OEM pipes back on and I like them even more now.

The Goldwing after market pipes, that don't specify that they won't fit the F6B, send sound and heat up through the bike because they terminate under the bags.

No more louder pipe experiment for me - :icon_lol:
