Any vehicle that requires water to run had better have a damn good filtration system if it's coming out of that river.

I remember watching a TV show staring bike builder Jesse James attempting to break the land speed record in a hydrogen car that he built himself. The most enlightening part of the show was when he stated to the camera: "Of course they can make cars that run off of water if they wanted to. Here I am, just some average guy, plain old mechanic, building one in his shop."
