Or from the practical side, look what Denny Berg did with a Gold Wing about 10 years ago. When I first saw that I said, "when they build it, I'll buy it". So I did, and my black Deluxe F6B is even prettier than Berg's first whack at the concept. He was with Cobra at the time and was doing their special profect bikes. Probably retired by now.

You can only lower, strectch, valence and 'black out' a v-twin so far before they all look the same,,, Black monotone also hides definition/dimension. (Ask any 'plus sized' person!)
