What is your USB Bluetooth adapter for streaming music? I bought one of these (http://www.amazon.com/TPCROMEER-Wireless-Bluetooth-Receiver-Cellphones/dp/B00KD7YNTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1460979827&sr=8-1&keywords=TPCROMEER+USB+Wireless+Bluetooth.&tag=donations09-20), and it has flaked out on me several times now. I am not very impressed with it, and looking for something more stable.

How often do you have to charge it? It doesnt appear to charge through the USB.

About every 8-10 hours. Why would you think it doesn't charge via the micro USB port?

Looked at it a little closer, I now see it has a micro USB port, so I assume you have it connected to the bike's USB cable via the supplied USB/microUSB cable? Will it charge from the bike ? Do you have to power it off/on before each time you use it?

I would like something I can keep connected and not touch again for my daily commutes.

You could install a USB port in the left cubby and just leave it there.

You do have to power it on before starting off but it charges fine through the USB connection. I leave mine connected to USB so I never have to think about charging it. There is a 5-minute auto-shut off as long as no devices are still connected to it. If it still has a Bluetooth connection going, it won't turn off. As a result, I just manually turn mine on and off. This works fine for me because I'm usually using the Sena system for music in my helmet headset and not activating the mPow for music through the bike audio system.
