For the most part, what type of foot wear do you wear when riding?

Right now I'm stuck wearing sneakers. (tennis shoes, whatever) I couldn't shift with my HD biker boots. I'm hoping for a better alternative like Dr. Martins or combat boots or something. I've never had a pair of racing style motorcycle boots but I might look into those too.

Aerostich Combat Touring Boots. Initially, very hard to break in but very durable. I crashed a few years ago with these boots on and scraped one of the buckles on the right boot. My leg was trapped under the bike and I slid about 55 feet. I had a Roadcrafter two piece suit on and it sustained only two minor abrasions because the road was greasy. I was essentially not injured.

Without these boots I'm sure my ankle/foot would have been hash.

I wear a pair of Milwaukee Trooper boots. Due to my paralysis I have no movement in my legs, so I need footwear that is easy on easy off :yes: These boots have zips either side of the laces and make putting on and taking off very easy indeed. They also have a good tread on the bottom, which means my feet won't slip of my foot boards when I go over bumps. Even though my feet at strapped in they do move sometimes!!!

I ride to work and I like wearing something that goes with business attire. I'm on my second pair of BMW city boots. On the weekends I wear black ventilated motorcycle boots.

Had these for a couple of years now. The low profile toe area fits nicely under the shifter too which comes in handy on the F6B.

I mostly wear a pair of Harley "Cowboy Style" Boots that one of my younger brothers gave me years and years ago. I have an Amish friend resole them about every ten years. Ive also been known to wear Converse Chuck Taylor's on occasion.

I have a pair of Cruiser Works that I got at Americade about 8 yrs ago and really like them. They are waterproof and easy to slip on BUT I saw a deal on a pair of Tour Master Solution 2.0 Waterproof AIR Road Boots and for $129 and picked them up to try. They broke in quickly and are very comfortable. It has been about a year now and I am happy with them. The AIR boot I have is much cooler than my Cruiser Works but I have not had been in the rain to tell if they are truly waterproof.










I spent most my money on Motorcycles and Women,, the rest I just wasted.

Bit of a boot freak here, Red Wings, Dainese gore-tex, Sidi Canyons and a pair of Gasolina hand made's. The Sidi Canyons are a hold over from my dual sport days kind of clunky on the F6B but excellent protection. The Dainese look classic and work well on my Ducati ST3. Haven't found the perfect boot for the Honda yet.

I bought my Gasolina boots when I had my 2013 Thruxton. They are excellent quality, mine are the low boot. I wore them today on a short ride on the F6B

I ordered a pair of Gasolina boots early last summer for use on the F6B and some of my other bikes where the thicker stiffer boots don't work. The style I ordered has an open sleeve type upper that wraps around and is secured with straps. The advantage is that your pants/leathers can go inside or outside the boot uppers as there is enough adjustment to allow different configurations. I haven't been rained on in these boots but just looking at them they look like your feet will get wet. They are comfortable. The second time I wore them we went to an aircraft meet and I tramped around in them all day with no ill effects.
