I've just bought a 5000 mile old 2013 F6b. I was out enjoying, my new stead and starting to use its power. On accelerating hard on a long sweeper the back end was definitely getting unsettled, giving a mild bucking under damped feeling. I was pushing 100 mph, it was less noticeable at lower speeds. Not unnerving but I felt it could do with stiffening up. Is there a preferred upgrade rear shock out there. Can you point me in the right direction?

I would first check to see if it was set at the stiffest setting then take that same sweeper and compare

I was only 3 miles into the journey, maybe just a cold tyre?

The rear shock is set at the softest setting from the factory. With 5000 mile I would bet it was never adjusted. Most of us start at the half way mark on the setting, then work up from there. Also what tire pressure are you running. Most run 41/41. I run 42/42.
