View Full Version : F6B in Illusion Blue aka 'Blurple'

I ordered a Signature Series in Illusion Blue the first few weeks of August.

By my own choice, I decided to wait and co-ordinate the pick-up with our yearly trip to AR, the week of Bikes, Blues, and BBQ.

This particular color is noted for changing hue, depending on the light.

Granted, it isn't a high-res photo, just a 'phone-pic', but this is what's waiting for me in AR:

As a member of the "Got Chrome, Will Roam" gang, I've got a few little areas I'll be working on. Not much, just some very small accents added to some of the black areas, but until the 14th, all I can do is :tapfing:

Awesome. I wish other dealers offered this "Signature" series paint options. From what I see the F6B models on Ebay it looks like there isn't even a markup of the selling price....I would have ordered white or silver. As the sayin' goes however....love the one your with!

In my view you couldn't have picked a better colour :yes: My Rune was Illusion Blue, and it had many admirers :bowdown:

Thanks Scotrod. Those sparkles are real, and not Photoshopped, it really WAS that shiny :icon_cool: I'm jealous of your new F6B :icon_lol:

I saw your bike when I was in Russellville. It's a beauty. Wanted to see what it looked like in the sun, but they were keeping it inside. Congrats!!

H-Raider, As you can imagine, the only 'view' I've had of it is the 'semi-fuzzy phone-pic taken into the sun' shot posted above. :shock: LOL!

Good to hear a :yes: from someone who's actually seen it! :icon_lol:

A little under 2 weeks to go now till I get to see it in person/ride it away. (As you know, it's still 100 here, so I'm not missing out on any 'prime time' riding)

I've never ordered/purchased a vehicle from out of state before, so this whole process is a new,,, Not difficult at all so far. Probably take a little time/trip to DMV to get plates, but, oh well.
