A few photos from this morning. Harder than I thought. Had to do some grinding to make it fit. 21200212012120221203212042120021201212022120321204

BTW, where can I get a black heat shield to match the exhaust? 2015/2016?

Looks sharp Yikes. It looks like you have a similar gap as I did after the install between the heat shields and the lower cover. Curious what you had to grind?

I had to grind inside of the front of the pipe, so the coupler would fit in. Looks like the paint made it too narrow.

How do I close that gap?

Assuming the lower cover is fully seated in all the doo-dads at the header area, I'd suggest sliding the heat shield forward if you can any, assuming the muffler tabs will still be mostly seated in the stirrups. I did mine with torq loopz (still working on getting it right :icon_redface: :banghead:) so mine's a slightly different beast. Different attachment points for the shield and lower cover. With all the trouble I've had, if I can get it back together with everything else good, and I still have that gap, I'm going to call it a success and ignore it.

Hi-temp flat black paint...works fine.

Is that a 2004 or 2005 EB Rune next to the F6B?

Where does the heat shield attach?

You have to take the heat shield off in front of it first and the front cowl.

Sounds like a pain. Perhaps a project for a rainy day. I'll pop the HS off, paint it, and line it up better.

Question: Is the 2015 HS compatible with a 2013?
