Speed channel at 10PM CST. Already had a death in the sidecar event. This is the ultimate commitment to speed race I can think of.

Michael Dunlop is just getting faster and faster. His brother rides for my cousins team. Unfortunately there have been two more deaths in the past 48 hours

MD got DQ'd last eve show. Looks like he had a new motor shipped in and it had a cam socket violation. Nothing against MD or his team.....simple but costly mistake by the motor guys. Several months ago the cam socket was legal. This motor slipped thorough the cracks.

Man, if anybody ever thought they were fast, just watching this is a harsh dose of reality. Just the fact of 2 deaths already ought to demonstrate just how much on the ragged edge these guys are riding. It's exhilarating to watch but pretty scary at the same time :yikes:.

My bucket list too. Ever since I was a wee lad scraping around on my cafe CL350. Watching Mike The Bike kickin ass. Watch "Road" on Netflix. Story of the Dunlops. Awesome, brutal and heartbreaking at the same time.

Binge watching episodes 5, 6, 7, & 8.....

These guys are insane...especially those sidecars. I could NOT be the passenger.

The final event, the senior, is just sick how fast they are moving.

In the moto doc "Take It To The Limit", Mike Hailwood does a lap on a Yamaha TZ750 two stroke four cylinder with camera on board and calls out the gears and speed. At one point he is doing 180+ down the back of the mountain in fog. An amazing rider, came back after an 11 year hiatus from racing bikes and won the TT. Sadly, he was killed years later in a car accident. Skilled on four wheels as well as two he purposely turned the car so the driver side would bear the brunt of the impact. His young daughter was in the passenger seat.

If you like to see more road racing, then have a look at The North West 200. It takes place on the roads of Portrush in Northern Ireland. All of the TT riders use the NW 200 as a warm up for the TT.
