This bike caught our eye Saturday at the Illinois Freedom Run. It was estimated there were 3700 bikes in attendance. But this one stood out!

I "think" he taped around the headlight lens----a little.  :icon_wink:

Dang Wiggy , that is butt ugly. I gotta admit the guy has stones for bringing it out in public.

Makes me think of High Plains Drifter when they painted the entire town red.

I believe this is the beginning of a Rat Bike. There is sub culture in motorcycles called Rat Bikes. They paint them as ugly as possible and then attach anything they can get there hands on. Usually, the rider looks pretty much as the bike does!

Rat Bikes don't get painted. They have rust. Sometimes they clear coat the rust.

More of a hmmmmmm...... what'll I do with all this left over paint from my General Lee project?:icon_lol:

Is it just me or is this bike a collection of different Harley parts / bikes thrown together? Some pieces don't jive.

Anybody notice the puddle of oil on the ground. Just an old shovelhead living its golden years as a fire truck.

Missed the puddle. Went back and sho 'nuff, it is marking it's spot! As you said, standard stuff on the old bikes.

The paint was applied while the bike was completely stripped for routine maintenance.
