Seem like there is too much of a gap on the throttle. Normal?

Doesn't look right to me...Mine has about a 1/16 gap on both.

My throttle-side gap is pretty much like yours, maybe slightly less.

Mine has that much gap. I was going to put one large or 2 thin o- rings to fill the gap. I haven't done that yet.

Gents,
Proper gap analysis requires numerous samples to properly gauge distances.

Loosen end caps and remove, you can see that they only fit in one way so they can not spin. Try this.

You should be able to just pop that end in some with the palm of your hand.

The dampered weights inside the handlebars have barbs that make them hard to remove. But, they should just slide in further without a problem. Give it a try ....

Lo and behold, that actually worked on my gap. I don't believe the palm of my hand would have done it but the 1 lb. dead blow hammer did the trick! Thanks for that suggestion :clap2:
