Okay, I road 120 miles to another dealer I had been emailing back and forth. F6B Matte Gray 2015 Standard with cruise OTD is $17,474.

I then added accessories:

Two Brothers Exhaust
Klock Werks Tall W/S
12V Outlet
Heated Grips
Passenger Backrest

Accessories: $1,388
Labor: $416

Total parts/labor: $1,754

I will pay for the parts upfront and not add to the finance amount.

So basically it's a Deluxe model minus the center-stand.

Oh, and they're paying off what I owe on my Honda CTX1300 which the other dealer wanted to short me about 2K. They were giving me OTD on a Blue F6B Deluxe with only the Two Brothers exhaust installed at $18,998.

I feel this is a solid deal. Please feel free to tell me yes it is or otherwise...

Thanks!

If you were trading in a CTX1300, which has dropped drastically in price, then I say you did very well.

Did they give your the Honda Bonus Bucks offer to help offset the cost of the addons?

Get $1000 in Bonus Bucks on 2015 - GL1800B/D (F6B)
$1000 Bonus Bucks offer is valid with the purchase of new and unregistered 2015 GL1800B/D (F6B) models. Bonus Bucks can only be used for purchases at the dealership and must be redeemed on the date of purchase. Offer has no cash value and is not transferable. Redemption value is not to exceed $1000. Check with participating Honda Dealers for complete details. Offer valid through 07/30/2016.

I got the same bike for $16,800....last November, in CT, which is a high cost of living state. I feel like the OTD price before you add stuff is too high. I also feel that after a windshield replacement, the center stand is a must.

Don't pay full retail for a center stand. You can get them reasonable cheap as trike build take offs. I got one for 75 shipped to my door and that included all the hardware. Others have done better yet but I'm very happy with that price. Rivco Center stands(one of which I put on my Valk Interstate) go for 450. Honda of Russellville would be a good place to inquire.

Does anyone think there is any room for them to come down off the $17,474, even just a little? I am buying $1800 worth of parts and labor but they are paying off what I owe on my CTX1300...

On Cycle Trader the cheapest I've seen the 2015 is $15,799 add in the fees and you're right at about $16,300. Do you think they'd come down to something close to that? Or wouldn't since they're taking my bike on a trade?

Thanks..

Try $16,800....it's not insulting. It's a leftover now.

I'm like Duke. I think that's high for a two year old bike. 17's will be out in less than two months. I would look toward $16,500. Just my 2 cents.

I won't say what the OTD price for my 15 Del Blue was. I did buy it Sept 15. After accessories, extended warranty, ect. it was close to 24k. I'll say you done good though IMO.

On Cycle Trader I've found several F6Bs base model 2015 brand new in the 15s... $15,399 to $15,799....

Yeah , but that's not OTD. If it is you better get one.

Did you look at the 13 with 2200 miles in the classifieds? $12500

I know that's not out the door. But it would be considerably cheaper even after their destination fees than $17,474. F6B without the cruise is a no-go for me. It's a must have. I do love the price though..

I've tried and they are very firm on the $17,474. I did get them to throw in the center stand and labor for free. They're also completely paying off what I owe on the CTX1300. Which ever other dealer was trying to short me 2K - 3K on. I was very surprised when the kid came back and said yeah, we'll pay off what you owe..

Essentially, I'll have a deluxe model with the added accessories:

Two Brothers Exhaust
Heated Grips
12V
Passenger Backrest
Klock Werks Tall W/S
Center-stand

Total with labor: $1804
(I'll pay for that upfront)

I'll finance the bike only, probably will put a little money towards it too...

Speak now or forever hold your peace....

I think the real issue here is the CTX1300. they only made them in 2014 and stopped because of very low sales. They were about 15k when new and now can be found as new leftovers for under 10k. If they are paying off his CTX he is probably underwater pretty bad on his trade. Yes you can get better deals straight out with no trade, but then he would still have to get out of the CTX. I think the deal depends on what he owes on his CTX, plus does your OTD figure include tax-title-tag, which is what OTD means.

I just found 2 brand new 2014 CTX1300 standard models, one for $7999, one for $8499, on each add about $300 for fees. That means a dealer would probably only offer about 6K at best on a trade. They play with paperwork to make deals happen. Get the best deal and go with it if thats what you want.

I owe $8700 on the CTX

No, I'll have to tag and pay sales tax.

No other dealer would come close to paying off what I owed on the CTX. This is most likely why he is steadfast on the $17,474, which I can understand.

I say you are actually getting the F6B for around 15k then.... which is a good price.

Sounds to me like they are getting the CTX out from under you above whats it's worth and you are getting into the F6B with all the goodies you want on her.Man sign the papers and enjoy your new ride-be glad you are not paying what some of us considered a good price on 2013 F6B's three years ago.And even at that price I am not unhappy I bought this bike as I have enjoyed many rides over the last three years on the greatest ride I have ever owned in 40 years on two wheels.Good luck with your deal and enjoy that new ride!
