The NYPD came by low, for the second time, they come out of the old Floyd Bennett Field where Howard Hughes took off and landed after circumnavigating the globe, about 10 minutes away. Great bunch of guys, St. Michael watch over them.

I like to circumvent things... like the GF telling me she needs more $ for shopping.
"Yes, dear... just gotta finalize this order at WingStuff." :icon_wink:

What the hell was I thinking? Oh, he circumvented Jane Russell's bra so he can circumnavigate her globes, is that correct?

That's check and mate, actually the first pass was lower but I couldn't get my camera out in time. There are 36' + sailboats lined up there, some with 50' masts so they can't get too close but for us civilians...that was close.

I used to sling load under hovering CH47's and UH1's... that's the closest :icon_wink:

I have never sling loaded heavy equipment (only cargo pallets) but this gives you a pretty good idea of the event. Very exhilarating:

Okay, yeah, I did that too - from the front seat. That's not a "low pass" though - that's "precision hover work!"
Guys underneath me had brass balls and a lot of faith....utmost respect for the Helo Support Team.

St. Michael, Patron Saint of Police Officers and the only saint venerated in all 3 major religions (if that ever comes up on Jeopardy). Google "The Tallest of all Marines"

BTW, St. Martin of Tours is the patron saint of alcoholics. It figures an island where people go to get piss drunk and Heineken is a domestic beer, on the Dutch side, it's only fitting.

Was in one of the draws, it's from the "Blinded Veteran's Association Collector's Edition 2004"
