Next Sunday the 24th.
Meet in Danbury at Panera Bread (the old Marcus Dairy) at 8AM and head up RT22 and across Rt9 through Bennington VT, after a "Wahoo" lunch we'll ride down RT100 and RT8 through MA back into CT.

It is a bit over 3 hours without stops and depending on how many come along I will have at least 2 stops along the way. That should get us there right about Noon.

you can check out the Wahoos Eatery

Thanks,
The "Dairy" is missed by many and nothing like it was, but there are still a few dozen bikes that still show up every Sunday.

Dan, exit 7 or 8? I forget

Exit #3 it is a Left hand Exit.

84 west thru Danbury to exit #3 (a left lane exit that stays 2 lanes wide) and then get off the first exit. As you exit you will actually be looping around the plaza and will see the old Milk Tower that stills says Marcus Dairy. Just stay right as you come around and bear right into the plaza parking lot. We are usually parked along the right side.

P.S.
if you see a Green Valkyrie Trike then follow her. A friend from up near Boston is also riding along with us.

Dan, great ride today, met some nice people too. Got home around 7:45, 535 miles. RT20 was tedious, only with all the traffic lights. Still better than sitting on a highway, bumper to bumper.

Always good to ride with you Wayne. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride.
It is tough to find a nice road going East/West in that area that you can make any time on.

There isn't one! On a Sunday evening, going home, you're in for a long haul. The bike is the savior! The last hour or so, I turned off the music and just listened to that baby hum. Made the last leg enjoyable. What direction did the scooter gal go? She kept going west with you guys. I thought she would take 9, or 20 east.

Karen stayed on RT8 farther south and took 23 to 20. I never gave that a though but after looking at the map seems only a mile or so longer.

Shortly after you swung off on 20 we got caught behind a slow moving car and were too far back to pass. Only 35-40 in a 45 for almost 10 miles. That took a lot of fun out a nice road.

I have a slight window from say 12:30-4. Doesn't bode well for a long ride for me.

I only have Sundays off. I work Monday - Saturday unless I have something special going on and know ahead of time.

I might risk a rain shower or two and go to NH tomorrow. Ride with my sons cousin.
