Harbor Freights blow gun is a kick axx unit. It works great for blowing out the bugs from the radiators on the Honda. I just have a small sears compressor for blowing up tire and such and it does get up to 120 psi and the blow gun had that small nozzle and just kicks everything out of the radiators.22412 I paid $6.99 for it on sale and they charge almost the same amount for shipping, total to the door was $14.82 definitely going to be used to blow bugs out of all the crevices on the bike. The small end piece can be loosened up and rotated to a different angle to get into different areas. Looked it over carefully but still can't figure out why they say its telescoping. Have not found that feature yet. Unless they mean by taken the 20 inch section out of the gun. part number is your interested is 68261 on Harbor Freights website.

It's also great for putting on grips or grip covers. Slips between bar and grip with ease.
If you loosen the knurled nut the thin end part extends.
I can put on or take off grip puppy things in seconds with it. They're off in winter to get the most out of grip heaters.
Anyway, yeah, great tool!

I thought shouldn't this be in the "Off Topic" section before I opened it.

I saw that Crossman has a new Pneumatic arrow bow... I wonder if I could adapt this H.F. air wand to shoot arrows as well... :icon_mrgreen:

Sorry Bob but I tried to find your thread to add mine to it but it just wasn't showing up in the search for it. Yes your thread got me to harbor freight but the search on their site took 15 minutes to find the blow gun so I wanted to add the item number so others could just get it in seconds instead of a massive search. Now quit your Crying :165fs373950: and I apologize for not using your thread to add the item number. My Bad!

Who crying? If my memory serves me right, your Thread dated 7-23-15, asked the same question about cleaning the radiators and I responded about using the air gun and compressed air on 7-24-15, a mere day later. That's over a year ago:shhh:

P.S. Regarding the telescoping nozzle! Loosen the synch/compression nut, while turning the nozzle, slightly pull on it at the same time. A little WD-40 does wonders in making it extend or retract easier:icon_wink:

I was per your advice blowing out my radiators with my aging blow gun and it worked great but my blow gun I had for years doesn't match this one from Harbor Freight. This has about triple the punch that my old one had and it gets into tighter spaces with more cleaning ability. Again thanks for the original information to start using air pressure and thanks again for the tip on the new air gun, it's really like I bought a new air compressor.:clap2::clap2:

Glad it worked for you! Don't forget to give it a try on the rear wheel spoke cavities and calipers!

Whew!!! That was tense there for a post or two. I thought Bob was gonna throw one of his old wore out G-Max's at the Dog. The Dog is old and has a bad back. No way he could a ducked fast enough. I gotta make a note. Don't poach Bob's ideas without giving him credit.

Didn't mean to get Bob that riled up and I did hunt for the original thread but it just wouldn't come up for some reason, probably my lack of computer skills, us old guys ain't to quick on the PC, I did apologize and now Bob doesn't have to strain himself throwing that G-Max at me.

I bought the cheaper one last week at a local Harbor Freight store for $3.99.. Already had a couple extra connectors to attach to the hose on the compressor and it works great...Difference is one is telescopic and the other is not...Plus the "cheapo" has a nice rubber tip that attaches to the longer tube....Ride safe

Its funny what us old farts can get worked up over. A $4.00 blow gun. LMAO. Every week when the Snap-On truck rolls into the lot its like Christmas. Heck he give me a new cap today and I've been in a good mood ever since. I got a new extendable mirror with the "big" 3 inch head. Holy cow. I can walk up to a car now and look at the exhaust without bending over. $8.00. Lots of fun for $8.00.

I actually thought of that Larry. If only I had one of those back in high school. Mid 70's was the height of the mini-skirt craze. Makes you wonder..........

I do it from the outside in!

I do it from the outside in!

Surprisingly, that's the way that the fan pulls the air through as well. Maybe the Honda Engineers figured that the radiators would stay cleaner... if the active windstream pulled air from inside to outside; and then the fans would pull air from outside to inside.

Gotta have something to get excited about at my old age...If that chick in the picture showed up in my driveway, I would probably have a "heart attack" right there ...Even if I did get the chance, I wouldn't be able to handle it!!!....Ride safe
