I've never been particularly keen on having a Top Box, however because i ride everyday and need to carry stuff for work, i was finding secure space to lock it in was getting short. I picked this up today for $129.00. I don't think it looks too bad and is removable in seconds with a key lock. I think i'll black out the yellow side panel / stripe and just leave the red at the back.

Yes they are very handy. Best if you can blend it in so it doesn't look like an "add on" to the bike.

Hit it with some gloss black spray enamel as well... it's look better too. :icon_cool:

I went ahead and set mine up recently. I already had the case from my other bike, just had to add the rack and Givi adapter plate. I will only use it on overnighters with the wife. The rest of the time the sidebars are enough space.

The removable box is a nice idea. Boxes keep things nice and dry as well as dust free (mostly) while traveling.

It came with a mounting plate that attached to my rear rack.

I had this old Shad that I purchased for a KTM 990 years ago. I'll use it for long overnight trips.228112281222813

Cool name for the white. I almost got a white one. Went mat silver in the end. You and pilotguy have the white whales. Looks good with the trunk. Do you think the cagers take you for the law?

Haaaaaaaa Funny you mentioned that issue. The short answer is , yes. Sometimes when Im coming up on a car in the left lane they start to move over. Sometimes, they slow down while passing me to take a good look at me. I saw a story one time about a guy who put the words "Be Polite" on the back of his and drivers thought it was a police department. Haaaaaaaa Oh by the way, I have a white 3/4 helmet and wear Ray Bans. That adds to the confusion Haaaaaaaaaaaa
