Actually I do believe it is quite illegal here in NC. Even the neon lights under the car. Good only for showing off while parked. Other states may vary.

Quite the circus wagon. Here in Corpus I've never heard or seen anyone pulled over for lights. In Texas, it's illegal to have any red or blue lights on the front of a vehicle, however, I've seen a lot of cars with red or blue neons in the headlight halos. It all boils down to many many laws but no order. At least in Europe they have law and order.
Here, as of 1920 it's illegal to carry wire cutters in your pocket. Cattle rustling days. It's still on the books though. Sorry for the hijack.
