GL1800 standard seat pan on F6?

I like the way I sit on the standard Goldwing. Does anyone know how the pans differ? If most of the mounting points are the same, i might cut off the passenger section...
Starting with a used pan, cna I build something that would fit the F6?

Or do I have to get a used F6 pan before I can start playing with upholstery?

I put an Ultimate Goldwing seat on my F6B for pictures....It will bolt on and can fit but it will need work. Hope this helps
