All you gotta do is go over 125 mph and leave him behind.

I thought I read it here somewhere on this forum that there is way to bypass the 125 limit and Honda does it on the Police bikes. My local Honda Dealer Mechanic/Dyno Guy told me the same but he can't figure out what Honda does different. Is this just a tall tale?

Mike, dgman2 on here has installed the HealTech SpeedoHealer...and altered the readout of the speedo pick-up unit, so it tricks the bike into thinking it is going a much lower speed, when in reality it is going well over 125+. He ended up adjusting the speed ratio a -38%, so now he uses the bikes Kilometer per hour scale...rather than the Miles per hour scale. When riding, he reads his speedo at what the bikes says he is doing as KPH, and in reality that same number is what he is doing in MPH.

I was kidding. I'm sure they have a way to remove the restriction.

Miles, My electrfried (spelled correctly) friend. I have been following the speedo healer discussion and except for not seeing a reply on how it affects odometer reading, think it is great. This Factory/Dealer fix is something else that would not require any such voodoo. Dang it I saw it posted somewhere when I was surfing and doing research on buying my F6B. But my dealer mechanic mentioned it unsolicited.
